RadRunner total power loss. What`s going on?

Not sure what electrical connections are in the frame, if any, but I would ask Rad where they are and what to look for. I myself would use a test meter to check electrical connections, but then again I feel comfortable in doing it.

"It’s time to get an electric bike. It will change your life. Seriously. I’m not kidding." ...says this article.

We purchased them to take RVing with us, just to add to the camping experience, ride the trails, ride to close by attractions, and visit close by small towns. Oh yes, and to Walmart where campers shop.

Gas powered electric bike... would it be legal??

Most RV'ers don't like RV vehicles next to them with generators, I would feel the same with ebikes riding next to me. If it comes to the time that we have no place to plug-in and recharge our batteries, then we are all in big trouble. I said I would never buy an electric car, now I'm rethinking...

    Rad Runner experiences

We at first were going to go with the Rad Runner's, but after comparing it to the Rad Mimi Step Thru's we decided on the Mimi's. We received our Mimi's around three weeks ago and are very happy with our purchase. One of the biggest reasons was the folding option of the Mimi's, the LCD readout...

Rad "Mini" step thru is 68 lbs ?

We just purchased two Rad Mini Step Thru's knowing the 68 lbs. was not to be a concern for me. I fold them and put then in the back of our new Ram 1500 without any trouble, I don't even remove the battery. I'm 74 YOA and weigh in at a cool 235 lbs. , now for some this maybe a problem, but after...

Mirrors for my Rad Mini Step Thru (handlebar size)

I'm looking at the Hafny MR083 Mirrors, they are offered in two sizes, the 62 and the 68 to fit the inside of the handlebars, which size would fit the Rad Mini's. Note, I just figured it out, the 62 and 68 have nothing to do with the handlebar size, that's just the difference in models offered...

RadMini Step-Thru or Electra Townie Go! 8D?

I know this is an old post, but do people really buy folding bikes and expect them to fit into every vehicle and then scratch there heads and wonder why they don't, really.

    2019 Rad Mini Speed Settings

I did reset to 40KHM and put the wheel size at 22" on the Rad Mini, the speed did go up to around 23-24 MPH, but for some reason I did not feel the speed was correct, it seemed show, but them maybe it was just me. One other thing I noticed was the watts being used seemed to be higher then when...

BAM bikes identical to Rad Power bikes?

For myself when purchasing a new item I only look at quality, service, style, and price, well there's not too much else to look at, is there. As far as if a RAD, or BAM being the same bike makes no difference to me, I just felt that RAD was the better deal for me after reading everything I...

    2019 Rad Mini Speed Settings

Is there any down side to resetting it to 40 KHM other then the speedometer will be off somewhat. At 74 yoa speed is not that big of a deal for me, but just nice to know it's there if I want it. For the wife and I we think we are flying at 15 MPH.

BAM bikes identical to Rad Power bikes?

I purchased two Rad Mini Step Thru's and both arrived in perfect shape and the boxes were undamaged. Myself I'm pretty mechanical minded so I figured if anything was wrong with the new bikes I could take care of it and Rad would send the parts needed for repairs. Now for those who are not so...

    2019 Rad Mini Speed Settings

I did see a video on YouTube that said, by doing what you said you could get around 23 MPH out of your Rad Mini.

    2019 Rad Mini Speed Settings

So it's my understanding that on the 2019 Rad Mini setting the wheel size on the LCD panel will set the control to the correct speed and mileage, so my fat tire measures 22" to the outside of the tire, so I want my wheel size set a 22" correct. Also if I set the wheel size to a larger size this...

Bafang 500w compared to Bafang 750w

I myself would not buy anything less them the 750w Bafang motor, go Rad they all have 750w motors and a 14ah battery, it will do the job you want. Rad Runner at $1299 is the best bang for the buck out there. Yes, it will pull you kids to daycare and two small kids can even ride on the back.

Now I know why bikes arrive bent

FedEx did a great job, all the way from Seattle to Ft. Worth, Texas, boxes arrived in great shape.

2019 RadMini - Rear Rack Install Help

I just installed to Rad Mini Rear Racks yesterday on our two new Rad Mini Step Thru's. I myself can see what problems you had installing the rear racks, both racks did not line up perfectly to the bike mounting brackets. Let me say this is not a uncommon problem when it comes to products like a...

    2020

I don't look for Rad to offer any new models in 2020, there bikes are selling very well and they have covered the ebike market with well equipped models and at a good price for what you get.

How to Choose the best bike

I think you would do well with the Rad Runner, for $1299 it a lot of bang for the buck. Rad Power Bikes is out of Seattle, Washington with great reviews and service.

    Radmini vs Magnum Premium

We just received two Rad Mini Step Thru's and we love them. Bikes are tops in quality for what you pay for them and Rad has top customer service. Sorry I do not know much about the Magnum bikes, but they are probably a good bike also. Biggest difference I see is the tires and the Rad's ability...
