What are your speculations for 2020 Rad Power Bikes?

I think 2020 to 2025 will be good years for sales, but I do see where ebikes sales will fall off somewhat, remember there becomes a time when new fads do taper off and lets face it not everyone wants or needs a ebike for there transportation needs. Not everyone works a tech job and lives in a...

    Idiot drivers!

I've ridden motorcycles for some 50 years and survived that era in my life, now I purchased an ebike at age 74, now I have to start all over again.

    Cyber sale just got better

Good price, seems like Rad has too many bikes in stock and needs to lower their inventory, or are their ebike sales down, or ebikes in general sales down. Maybe it's just the Black Friday time of the year, they may just want higher sales records as companies want these figures to project future...

    Smartphone mounts for bikes, 2019/2020

I use the Ram System, it does cost the most, but I used it on my off road motorcycles for years and never had my iPhone come loose one time, I guess I can say it passed the test.

Car manufacturers see the writing on the wall about personal electric vehicles

I don't disagree with what was said above and for some areas of the country this will probably be the up and coming thing, as we can see it happening today. But if you lived in Ft. Worth/Dallas, Texas you would not see ebikes as the up and coming thing, there almost non existent. Now I wouldn't...

    36v 7.8ah 250 watt distance throttle only.

I would personally look for a bike that would get you in the 20 mile range when using the throttle only riding, I only say this because you can put miles on your ebike faster then you think you will. Don't short yourself on a purchase and then wish you had spent a little more and got a bike that...

Wish EBR would focus more on "Folding" the folding electric bikes...

We take our Rad Mini Step Thur's with us camping, we carry them in the back of our 2019 Ram pickup. We do lift them up in the back of the pickup bed, me on the bikes heavy side and the wife on the other, it's a 4 ft. lift to the bed floor and I probably do 75% of the lifting, thus the wife just...

Your thoughts on the 20" Fat Tire ebikes

I watched many of your videos on ebikes and after many weeks of much deliberation, we went with the Rad Mini Step Thur's. We wanted our ebikes for camping and just general trail riding in city parks, state parts, etc., the folding feature was important to us and space was a concern when camping...

    Rad Runner experiences

Owing two Rad Mini's I decided to go to the Desert and Plains Tour in Ft. Worth, Texas on Monday Nov. 18th to ride the Rad Runner and check it out. After riding the Runner and comparing it to the Mini's that we own (2 months old) I found riding the Runner was pretty much the same riding it on...

    Bike friendly Breckenridge (sort of)

I've been to Breckenridge and to Frisco and I've seen ebikes on the trails between the two towns, also ebike dealers in town rent and give tours on this trail, so that should answer that question. Personally I would ride any ebike, class I, II, or III and never feel I was going to be stopped...

    Rad Runner experiences

Rad is coming to Ft. Worth, Texas next week with there Desert and Plains Tour, Nov. 18th Monday from 3:00 to 6:00pm. Since we have our Rad Mini Step Thru's we won't be purchasing another Rad at this time, but I do want to ride the Rad Runner just to see how it preforms to the Rad Mini's. I don't...

Wish EBR would focus more on "Folding" the folding electric bikes...

From what I see folding ebikes are not for everyone, weight and folding size when folder is what I'm talking about here. Everyone doesn't have the same strength for their size and body structure, take my sister, she is 5"5" and 110 lbs., she can lift the side of a barn and a 68 lb. Rad Mini is...

    Rad Runner experiences

Looks like you made the correct choice with the Rad Runner for you, like I posted in an earlier post we looked at both the Rad Runner and the Rad Mini and went with the Mini's. So far the Rad Mini's are everything we hoped they would be and don't regret our choice, looks like you won't either...

    RadRunner- Front light alternatives

I just checked our two rad Mini's Step Thur's and you are correct, they have the same light. Rad should be able to fix you up with this light, we are very happy with the Rad Mini's light output.

    RadRunner- Front light alternatives

This headlight has very good reviews, it is sold as an upgrade on Lil Snoozy ebikes on there website. I found in on ebay here, but this is an overseas order, i'd look elsewhere if really interested...

    Rad Mini correct charger connections

Just wondering when charging the Rad Mini do you plug the charger power cord into the 120V house plug first and then plug the charger into the battery for charging, or do you plug the charger into the battery first and then the power cord into the house 120v plug. Is there a particular order of...

It’s 2025 what does your ebike look like?

Being an older rider (74) I see the older population riding more and the ebikes of the future for that age group will be ebikes like the Rad Runner, Rad Mini's, Super 73 scooter styles. These may even trickle down to the younger ages for there smaller size and ease of use. For the city bicycle...

Anyone tried a Bolton Ebike in the wild?

I think after watching the Bolton videos that there bikes are probably a good bike and you can probably order your bike to your liking where many you can't. I see Bolton is sold out for there fall model in the 26" models, so if waiting is what you choose to do and not be riding, then I would...

RadMini - Brake Squeal and Rattle

Make sure your brake cable down by the brake caliper is seated in the slot where the cable comes out of the plastic cable tube on the mounting bracket. Mine was dislodged upon arrival and had to be put back into its proper mounting bracket. My problem was what you described and no adjustments...

Now I know why bikes arrive bent

As far as your bike box being laid on its side when being delivered is probably not a problem, but being shipped in freight containers, or 18-wheeler trailers with other freight stacked on top of it would be a problem.
