    Abus vs. Pewag Security Chain

I watched videos on locks for a month before I purchased locks for our Rad Mini's. We normally don't leave our ebikes unattended, mainly only at the camping grounds locked to the trailer, or a run to the local store for whatever we may need. We went with the Abus Folding Locks, expensive, but...

    New bike ???

We have the Rad Mimi Step Thru's, work great for what you are wanting in an ebike. Good top selling manufacture with many satisfied customers. Even with the street 20" fat tires on the ebike we fine them just fine for the dirt trails, plus getting on and off the Mini is what we like most, I'd...

    Custom EBC Model X

For me it's just another ebike, if Court has not done a review on the EBC ebike most probably know nothing about it. I will look and see if Court has done a review.

    Ebike Tiers

Rad's are in the $1500 range, from my experience they are pretty nice ebikes for what you get. Paying more then that for an ebike would have been dollars wasted for me and my use, plus you do get good service from them, this should be one of the main determining factors in a purchase. It looks...

Shifting Gears on a Rad Mini?

I did debate on which Rad to get, the Rad Mini, or the Rad Runner. Since I didn't ride either before my purchase I went with the Rad Mini because of it folding feature which I like because we take them camping with us. I did get to ride a Rad Runner after my purchase at a Rad Tour event here in...

Shifting Gears on a Rad Mini?

My wife and I both have the Rad Mini Step Thru's and for myself I shift the gears very little, usually in 5 or 7 most of the time. I ride in PAS 2 or 3 most of the time and use the throttle on hills, I can get close to 30 miles on a battery charge with my riding style.

Rad mini Chain rubbing rear tire.

I own two Rad Mini's and our rear chain clears the tire by about 1/8" maybe a little more. I would think this could be corrected by adjusting the derailer as it could be adjusted a little to far to the other side. It never hurts to have someone check this and why they are at it check the spokes...

Index finger numbness progressing to needles and pins on palm

I've been riding motorcycles both street and off road for 50 years and never had any of those hand problems, now I have an ebike I guess it's down hill from here, just waiting for the pain to start.

    RVing with ebikes.

We are RV'ers and we purchased the Rad Mini Step Thru's just for the purpose you want to use your ebike for. We are 74 and 71, wanted a folder to go into the bed of our pickup and one we could ride on and off road, that is paved and hard packed dirt surfaces, we do not ride rough back wood...

    Question to all RadWagon owners

I would say to keep your spokes tight, most spoke problems are because of loose spokes and are not checked on a regular maintenance schedule. My Rad Mini came with the spokes all tight as well as all was in proper adjustment from what I can tell, but I still intend to have a knowledgeable person...

COURT - Your thoughts on Selecting a Compact / Folding.

I watched several of Courts reviews before choosing the bike we purchased, sales, service, warranty repairs were the determining factor in our choice. Drive system, brakes, weight, and higher quality components were probably not so much the determining factor as good reviews were. It was hard to...

Mini vs Full Size Bike for Seniors?

I saw a review on this bike on a camper website, good review, I personally want the 20" Fat Tires and a folder, which this bike is not.

    26er folder

I think you are either like the 20" Folding Ebikes, or you don't. We ride our 20" folders all around the camping sites and on city trails, both paved and packed dirt. They are what I would call very quick handling and just plain fun to ride. For those who just want to ride miles this style of...

    Step Through Frame Stability

I'm 230 lbs. and my Rad Mini step thru shows no sign of flexing when riding, nor is there any signs of welds becoming faulty at the weld joints. I don't know of any other folding ebikes having this problem, but by looking at some of the 20" folding ebikes I can see where the lighter weight...

Anyone know how long this website has been out there ?

I spent more time on YouTube and looking at all the ebikes out there, both manufactures and ride reviews on ebikes. It took a wile to find this website and now I look at it everyday, I will say it's probably a little techie for me, I just mainly want to know about quality of each manufacture...

New (to me) 2018 Radmini owner, no flats tire setup & shifter upgrade.

Our new (2019) Rad Mini's came with Kenda puncher proof tires, well puncher proof is only so good, but better then no puncher proof at all. If your Rad Mini is a 2019 you might give these tires a try before replacing them, Rad sells these tires and tubes, but check there website for prices. The...

Mixed (conventional & e-Bikes) Group Road Rides

Thanks, we ride in pedal assist 2 and sometimes 3, depending on road conditions. I can tell you if we didn't have an ebike I couldn't do many rides of any distance. It's amazing how far we can go now on a ride, opens up a whole new world to riding.

Mixed (conventional & e-Bikes) Group Road Rides

The Mayor of Ft. Worth, Texas is a big bicycle rider and holds many rides through out the year. I did watch many of these rides on YouTub to see if any ebikes were in the rides, I personally did not see any ebikes other then the ebikes that the city has for rent in the rides. I decided to...

Are frame-mounted batteries going to get damaged in a crash?

So do ebikes have to be crash tested now, getting the government involved in ebikes with bring another $500 worth of not needed addons to the price of your ebike. I can see it now a 500 word disclaimer attached to the frame of your new ebike. "Riding this Ebike can cause Death to the Rider"...
