I'm loving the new bike. The motor is quiet, and because of its central location, the bike feels better balanced (not so arse-end heavy.) Also, on the subject of the motor, I seem to go faster for my efforts. The old bike was cadence sensor only, which imposed a speed limit for each assist...

Thanks about the colour. The boat is a cable ferry that shuttles vehicles across the river. It uses a fixed underwater cable to pull itself across the river and back.

Tomorrow's forecast: 10cm of snow, a high of 2c. Friday's forecast: a mix of sun and clouds, a high of 11c. Our weather can't make up its mind. :rolleyes:

Went for a 17km ride this evening, but no pics as it was cold and windy. I just wanted to keep moving with the temp at 5c, feeling like 1c with the wind chill.

My first impressions of bike are very positive. The fit and finish are great. The ride is very stable and smooth. Also, the shifting is precise and smooth. Plus the mid-drive motor is very quiet. ;)
