I ride there often. The paved paths around the lake on the California side have bike rental shops about every 2 miles along the paths that rent mostly ebikes. About 80% of what you see on the bike paths are e-bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. The fact that it’s even illegal is a joke. I guess...
