    Changes to my RadRover

Yes, that's exactly what I did. You do have to slit the bag to get the battery mount inside. The holes in the bottom for the screws don't have to be perfect, they are covered up. I chose to cut the top loops off. It looks so much nicer. I really disliked the look of the battery. Whenever I...

That would be great. I would like to do that. On Rad's web page under the referral tab it shows how to enter my name when you order. You will receive a $50 Amazon gift card via email in about 4-5 weeks. Also I will need your name for reference when I follow up with them. Thanks, Mike Sanders

    Changes to my RadRover

@walawn I ordered it through Amazon from BikepakUSA . I cut off the top loops and mounted it under the battery holder which needs to get removed. I also cut a slit in bag in the back bottom to run the wire through. A large bag. There are other bags out there that I'm sure will work but they...

    Changes to my RadRover

It's a Sainspeed bottle cage. It works well with a beer bottle koozie or a water bottle on pavement. The weight and jarring when using a full water bottle off pavement cause it to slip down but not off. On long rides I use my camelback, this works fine for shorter casual neighborhood rides...

    Changes to my RadRover

After riding 200 miles with this bike stock, I decided I needed some changes. 1) I added a bottle holder. 2) I went with a new seat and a Cane Creek Thudbuster post. I would have preferred the bodyfloat but couldn't justify its costs. 3) I put on an Ibera PakRak rear rack. 4) The ugliest...

    Accessorizing the RadRover

There is confusion on some of the threads regarding rear racks with the Radrover. This is because some folks have the 2015 model and others have the 2016. The 2015 does not have pre-drilled mounting holes for the front of the rack. In this case you need the Portland design P-Mounts or something...

How do you secure your ebike?

The café lock only keeps someone from riding or pushing your bike away. It does not lock your bike to anything. So, easily defeated, someone can pick the bike up, put it in a vehicle and drive away all in a few seconds.

    Removing tire from radrover rim?

The bike shop ( a very respected one) that I took just one wheel too spent 1/2 hour getting the tire off of the rim. They broke 3 tools, the guy (3rd employee to try) was completely red in the face by the time he was done. I bought 2 new different tires, I have to be able to fix a flat while out...

    Front fork

Update: It was confirmed to me today by Rad that their shocks are not oil filled.

    Front fork

I have a 2015 RadRover with a top gun front fork. When I bought the bike I was under the impression that it was oiled filled. Then today I've come to believe that it isn't. That it is neither oil or an air fork. It just has a steel spring and some rubbers to work as damper. Does anyone...

    Owner referral?

Sure, why not? Mike Sanders The funny thing is that when I bought my bike in the store I don't remember them asking me for my name. Maybe they took it off of the credit card.
