I has assumed that the tannus insert will always be compressed at the contact point making the foam denser and harder to penetrate. That being said, I haven't had a flat either since running them so I'm gonna stick with it as is.

Just installed the tannus insert. Not as easy as when I did my 26x4 tires, but doable. I made the mistake of ordering the tubes from tannus. The ones they sent has none removable cores.

Do you know if they installed the 27.5x2.5 tubeless insert? Or the 27.5x2.6-3.0 insert with tube? I did not order mine with armor, but I installed them on my last bike and want to install them on this one. Thanks

Hahaha... Yes. My other ebike has brakes with cut off wires. The magura 5 on this sadly does not. I was just telling my buddy who got a new ebike about shifting and killing motor power, when I noticed that I didnt have it on my Hydra. Haha.

The other day, I tried tapping the brakes to cut off the motor and It didn't work. Then I noticed that I didn't get the MT5e either. . so many things off with my order. My bike is basically a Hydra/ Black frankenstein. Haha... I'm just gonna have to laugh at the world we're in for now.

The cable and software is listed as an upgrade for the Hydra Black. They are standard for the Hydra as far as their website goes. I got a reply and the cables is on back order.

Could someone post a picture of the programming cable? I ordered the Hydra and did not see one in the box. Also, the display clamp seems to small for the handle bar. No screws to secure it either. Pretty sure they wouldn't reach anyways. Does that seem correct? Thanks.

it's been a while since I did it, but I think I had a can of denatured alcohol sitting around and tried it. I soaked a paper shop towel and held it on the decals that I wanted to remove for a bit. The decals melted. I avoided rubbing.
