SRAM GX Eagle AXS Electric Shifting for Hydra

So I decided to go with the kmc e12 130 link. I removed 2 links. All shifting smoothly. I put the 126 link back on just to see if I was imagining things. Those two extra links really seem make a difference. I was going to take a look at the magura shiftmix, but there is no way it would work...

Is a Slime Seal (Tube) Permanent?

In the past, I've noticed that slime won't usually seal anything until after you pull the object object out. Slime has to come out of the hole to create the plug. I've used flatout on my off road bike. It's a mixture of chunky black 'beads' and liquid that plug the hole. I used slime on my...

Is a Slime Seal (Tube) Permanent?

Even if the slime plug gave out, there is still more slime in the tube which will plug it again. Haha

SRAM GX Eagle AXS Electric Shifting for Hydra

Some observations. The freehub was notched from the individual cogs making it a little challenging to remove the old cassette and put on the new one. There was already a spacer so I didn't see the need for the 1.85 mm spacer that I've read about. The 126 link x01 12 speed chain was not long...

    Wallke decals? Anyone removed them?

Have patience. Dab the rag, hold it in place without rubbing it. The alcohol will evaporate. So it does not stay wet long. When the decals start to melt, then start to rub gently with some more alcohol. One letter at a time was what I was able to do. Good luck.

    Wallke decals? Anyone removed them?

My old wallke x3. Decals removed. And if you feel like you need to scrape, try using plastic razors.

My hydra came with a microshift 11 speed cassette. Can I use the parts listed by jmaloy, or will I need a new hub? Thanks.

Do ebikes get more flats ?

You can. I did it on two of my more recent tubes before putting them on the tire. If you want to fill your current tubes, you have to take the tubes out of the wheel. You take a pair of needlenose or other small pliers and untwist the knurled knob. It takes a little effort, but it will come...

    Can't get tire off wheel

I have the same tires. I use 2 levers with the tire standing up right. Not laying flat. For some reason, working the bead with it laying flat is near impossible. Standing up is a piece of cake.
