I see - so that's how you do it. Exactly how long is the device?

    Ebikemotion x35 speed limiter "fix"

I have an alloy framed 2018 Gain. Would this fit? - it looks as if the bike's existing cable would need to be shortened for it to be fitted. Do you have fitting instructions?

Weight of various Orbea Gain models

I bought and use the Gain because I've developed vascular disease which is severely restricting blood supply to muscles in both legs. As a result the last time I rode the Rose my calves were screaming within 3 - 4 miles, and every slight gradient was like a mountain - so it is difficult to...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

Another view - I have one of the original Tiagra equipped Gains, weighs around 35 (edit: pounds not Kg) with all equipment - saddle pack, mudguards, bottles etc. I find it a very heavy bike to ride unassisted., but I also find my 16.5 lb Rose hard to ride due to my having developed peripheral...

Hip Labrum Tear - post surgery

I had a THR to deal with a labral tear, 3 years ago. Every pedal stroke had become painful. I was riding an unassisted bike at that time and it was becoming more and more painful and restrictive. I am somewhat older than you (68 at the time) and the surgeon felt that an operation to just fix the...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

Firstly, do you wan't a flat-bar (F30) or a drop-bar (D40) bike? I would think that the D40 (Tiagra) would be fractionally lighter than the F30 (Claris). Secondly, how much lighter would it be than your eGlide? My Tiagra Gain (small size frame) weighs in at around 35.5 pounds fully equipped -...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

Hi Energy, my size S Gain D30 (2018 Tiagra, now D40) weighed 14.31Kg, as delivered without pedals and with heavier wheels and tyres than the current version. So I would think the 2019 D30 105 version would be under 14kg.

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

34 miles = 54 km. So 54 km, 65% charge used. That would give you a range of roughly 84 km to a full charge. That is pretty much my experience with my Gain D20 (2018 Tiagra) over the first 1000+ miles on the bike. 8 km to 10% of charge, so for me, approximately 80km/50 miles range. Using level 1...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

I'm trying to carry only the tools I might actually use on the bike, so instead of a multi tool, 3,4,5 and 8mm Hex keys. Pedals require 6mm but I may risk leaving this out. I also have a very lightweight pressed 10mm spanner - useful to tweak the alignment of the rear wheel axle if necessary...
