Well I dont know about that, dont have my bike long enough to say if it breaks after 3 years straight. But there are more then enough people who have more then 4.000 miles on their radrover or somesort with geared hub motor. I have yet to read anything about a geared hub motor breaking or not...

Exactly, alone the additional weight of the bike will make it way harder then driving a normal bike. I have the Radrhino and it weighs 32kg. A normal bike is half the weight or even less. Just go in the lowest setting possible and all is easy.
