    Looking for a commuter/trekker hybrid

Its simple. Haibike has only ONE trekking bike. Every model has its variants, starting mostly from 4.0 up to 11.0 in some cases. Those numbers represent the level of components and extras. 4.0 is the most basic level, and the higher you get, the better components you have on the bike. Pretty...

Do You Change Gears and Power Assist Levels During Ride??

Extremly, basicly the whole time Im switching. Im mainly riding in forests switching between all gears, from 1 to 7 and even PAS mode. Mostly I ride in PAS 1, but there are some places where I have to up to 3 or even 4 to get up, even in first gear. Sometimes it was so steep, the backtire was...

    Suggested improvements to Radpowerbike models

Actually with that price, they would have to up the used components as well, you get bikes with bosch/yamaha motors and a nicer drivetrain at that pricepoint. I wouldnt buy a bike over 2.000$/€ with a bafang motor in it, and not rear powered.

Currently writing a comparison list, need help regarding components

Hi there, Im currently writing a comparison list in excel (in german unfortunaly, but I can publish it) and Im having trouble differentiating between lower and higher end components, since Im lacking knowledge in the MTB sec. For starters, many people or mountainbikers prefer a oneby...

    Suggested improvements to Radpowerbike models

I dont know about the Radcity, but the Radrhino has a hard wired tail light and to point 1: That, at least in germany that would possibly collide with some laws I think. I agree on the higher gears, I too wish my Radrhino had 1 or 2 higher gears but its not made for those speeds I actually ride...

Stock fat tire/tube - keep or upgrade?

If you think about it logicly, of course. You have mostly double the width of a normal tire or even more, so that doubles the contact surface to the ground which in the end, doubles your chances for flats, on each tire. Maybe the kenda´s are just not good, but who knows. For a fact I know, if...

Stock fat tire/tube - keep or upgrade?

@mrgold35 Depends on the sealant I guess. There is extra course sealant from stans which you unfortunaly cant fill through the valve because its so course, but it can seal really big wholes, may work with that one. For fact I kow, with my next ebike I wont shoot for fat tires and a rear hub...

Thoughts on the Haibike SDURO Trekking 4.0?

Hi there, Im looking for a ebike for my father since a long time. Its really hard finding a decent bike here which is compatible with german law and under 2000€. My father is 67 years old and he likes the torque of my Radrhino (75nm of torque). The Haibike sduro trekking 4.0 has basicly...

    Hello from Germany!

Oh neat bike, I like the fullsuspension one, but a bit too costly with those components in my opinion. But I dont know if its canadian dollars or something else.

How do you secure your bike?

If Im out, I always secure my bike with a Abus Bordo Big, its pretty compact and enough for leaving the bike for short periods of time. No matter what, Im not leaving this bike out for a whole workday, even with the Abus. Give a thief enough time and he will steal it, not matter how or with...

    Hello from Germany!

@AguassissiM You are right, I didnt check the front tire for loose spokes, only the back one! I´ll do that as soon as my new spoke wrench arrives, it was a pain with the old one. And canada, oh boy must be realy nice to bike there, one of the most beautiful places! And I like your bike, what...

    Hello from Germany!

Hello there, you may saw me post something here already. Since I shot some pictures of my bike I thought, why not present it here. Im 27 years old and from germany. As a child up to 13 - 14 years old, the only thing I did was riding bikes. Came home from school, eat something out on the bike...

    Going tubeless on a fatbike

I have a compressor, so no issues with that and I carry a spare tube with me always anyway, even now where I run tubes. So those wouldnt put me off at least.

    Radrover comming to play with.

Well the Mammoth TR EXO are marketed with having low rolling resistance though, so I hope they are quiet. But anything is better then the kenda juggernaut killer swarm. Sounds like a tank rolling. And yeah, I love the looks of the supercells also, but Im just riding too much trail for that. I...

    Radrover comming to play with.

Any expirience with Maxxis Mammoth TR EXO? I looked at those, but they dont seem that different then the kendas, just that there is a additional knob where there´s nothing on the kendas and thats the exact place where I get the flats. I do like the looks of those tires, but the Vee8 seem like...

What kind of tires do you guys use btw? Or is every tire better then the kenda ones? (thats what I believe) :D

    Going tubeless on a fatbike

Now I always carry tools, a spare tube and a flat repair kit with me. I looked into Mr. Tuffy liners, but the ones I need arent avaible in germany, at least for a reasonable price. Laugh at me, the only thing I found was Mr. Tuffy 3XL for around 200 or 300€... you heard right. For that price I...
