    Charging E Bike

    I agree, unless you can get near an outlet a battery pack is the only thing I can think of. A cheap alternative is just a car battery and an inverter like someone posted above.

    I rode 16 miles today and part of it through town. I stopped to take a break under a tree and it was in front of a nicely maintained and landscaped house.

    I think that looks like a good choice. I think I would want a fairly powerful bike like that just because you don’t want to get to work tired and hot.

    That retaining wall is made of test cylinders, the round things. Those are taken off a concrete truck into a plastic mold, allowed to cure, then broken normally to determine the strength of the concrete. Those were never broken but the plastic mold was removed.

    Thank you, those were the areas we were looking at, thanks for the feedback. A plus is it’s only a three hour drive for us.

    My wife and I rode 25 miles today, all the rural roads near our house. Once again near perfect day, light winds and temps in the low 70’s. We stopped to take a break on a ridge over a larger creek, a picture looking downstream, a bit of a log jam.

    We are considering a ride along the Katy Trail in Missouri. We are looking at the area near Jefferson City. Any opinions on the quality of the trail or the best area of it to ride?

    We rode 21 miles today. A near perfect day, no wind and about 68 degrees, it would normally be more like 88 this time of year. Because of the light winds we averaged 14.3 miles per hour which is fast for us. A picture at a rural cemetery we took a break at.

    Clothing complaint

    I think it’s the same for everybody no matter the size. My biggest complaint is the length of shirts in both the body and sleeves. I often buy talls even though I’m just over 6 feet tall.

    My wife and I road 12 miles today to Tennessee Illinois. I shot a picture of the Tennessee Tap, the local bar. It was about 9:00 am. I was surprised it wasn’t open. ;) 🍺
