Mountain Bikes Anger or Attract Mountain Lions

Then close the bloody path be for it becomes a bloody path and take your children, dogs and hiking elsewhere for 18 months. Leave the cougar and cubs alone and they won't bother anyone. Bring a free meal to them and your on your own. Or else kill all the cougars wherever you live so the fat...

Mountain Bikes Anger or Attract Mountain Lions

Why not just close the trail until the Cubs are gone. Following it will only provoke it and why kill a beautiful animal that it only ding what nature intended. Find a new trail to ride and leave the cougar to do its business. Why mess with it? That thing will eat you for breakfast and then...

    Pulling the trigger

This is a solid bike and with the 20% back in store credit I have almost $500 to use for upgrades, or accessories, etc, due to the Performance Bike special this weekend. Can't wait to get it out for its first ride. Will update the community once it arrives. Not as stealthy as I wanted, but...

RadRover - $1000 Fat eBike .. why spend any more than this?

The RadRover is listed at 77" from the front of front tire to end of rear tire. This seems like a very wide bike to carry on a rear rack. My current hybrid is about 69" and I think it almost stick out to far on the side of our Volvo wagon. I guess you could take the front tire off, but that's...

    Defining expectations

Hi I'm Mike and I'm type 2 B, O positive, and a Gemini. Just having some fun. I actually Really like your idea so I don't have to explain my situation in every post. I think you could add other factors such as age, weight, and main reason for choosing an ebike, such as Recreation, Exercise...

Do eBikes Need a Racing Circuit?

I think someone should start a version of the Tour de France for fat men on fat tire bikes ebikes. There could be rest stops along the route for a burger and beer, and maybe a smoke. Get Burger King and Old Milwaukee to sponsor the event. Skinny people shouldn't have all the fun.

RadRover - $1000 Fat eBike .. why spend any more than this?

I figure at about $1200 with shipping over 3 years is less than $1.50 a day. If it helps me lose some fat man weight in the mean time it is well worth the price and it should be worth something if I decide to change bikes. Sorry folks I'm just trying to convince myself. My only issue is fat man...

RadRover - $1000 Fat eBike .. why spend any more than this?

Any reason not to buy this bike? Any comments are welcome. Fat guy on a fat bike to exercise and lose some weight. Not as cool or stealth as I wanted but great features for the price. Would have a lot of extra cash to upgrade at this price if needed. Thanks in advance. Mike Towson, MD

RadRover - $1000 Fat eBike .. why spend any more than this?

I heard from Radpower that the Radrover will have a Hengtai motor which wasn't listed in their description This means nothing to me but perhaps others have more knowledge of Hengtai. I am really considering this bike, just wish I didn't have to wait until Aug for delivery.

    2015 Surface 604

Found this online. (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) don't know why they haven't updated their US site. Hope the US version has more power than 250W. Nice design but a lot will depend upon price and power. Right now the Radrover looks like a great deal. Just wish I didn't have to wait until...

    Bionx on Raleigh CameoCameo

My wife and I are in the market for ebikes and she is very interested in having the 350W rack mounted Bionx system installed on a Raleigh Cameo bike. This bike would be perfect for her style of riding. It's a steel urban style bike and she finds it very comfortable. Does this seem like a good...

    Dillenger E Bikes

I wish there were some reviews and more info on the Stealth Legacy 500. I like the looks of the bike and larger wheels than the Volton and the price, but there is no info anywhere except for the Dillenger Web site. It's like this bike doesn't exist. To risky without local US support in my...

Evo 27.5 talk me out of it, lol

After months of research, I think I have finally decided on the Evo 27.5. I'm 50 and 250 lbs, want to ride longer and flatten out hills, exercise, and lose some weight. Will test ride next week hopefully. If it is a good ride I plan to buy ,but please tell me what else to test before...

    Indiegogo - Down in Flames

For anyone doing series research and due diligence to find the right ebike, like I have been, it doesn't take long to see that most of the ebikes available in the US are just rebranded versions of ebikes available from Alibaba with perhaps some slight modifications in components. The phrase...

My 2015 EVO Street Has Arrived!

Thanks for the great posts and congrats on your new bike. Sounds like you are having fun customizing it. Not many people under 50 realize how hard 10 miles is especially with hills. That's why my wife and I are looking for the best ebikes forus, get more exercise, ride a little longer and...
