I forgot to say. Here's what the LBS updated the 2020 Vado 4 firmware to yesterday. Actually, they didn't update the battery. He said that version was current. Firmware: Motor - 7.1.1 Display - 13.4.0 Battery - 9.3.0

Have you reached out to the folks at Rad? It sounds like this bike is fairly new, so the sooner you contact them the better it is, if you're going to try to return the bike. Rad has a no return policy, but they told me they sometimes make exceptions. This bike clearly isn't working for you...

Oh I forgot about this. Another thing low tech thing that you might try are thinner, slicker street tires. The tires on all Rad bikes have mountain bike-like tread, which has a fair amount of rolling resistance. Adding street specific tires, will really improve the bike's mobility on asphalt.

I'm curious? I got my Vado 4 a couple of weeks ago. Since then I've ridden every day. Most days are 20-25 miles. Today I rode 41 miles with 37% left on the battery. How about you folks? How far have you ridden without recharging the battery?
