    Tire not holding air problem

Wife's new bike hasn't yet been ridden as she recovers from a medical issue. I checked the tires recently and found the rear tire nearly flat. Pumped to up to 40 psi and checked it in a few days, down to about 20 psi. Aired it up again to 40 psi, after five days still at 40 psi. Is it a problem...

250W Giant or Trek mid-drive bike vs 500W Biktrix mid-drive, or Pedego hub, and size considerations-help me choose

I purchased a Pedego Boomerang Plus in early February. I'm retired so I ride it for recreation and have been riding 5-10 miles (sometimes more) each day the weather coorporates. I really like the extremely low steep thru frame and the comfortable upright riding position. I also looked at other...

Ebike that is good with a Burley trailer attached.

Please educate me as to why hub drive bikes aren't good with a trailer. My new bike is hub drive and I plan on occasionally using my small pet trailer with my 12lb dog in it. Thanks for your advice and information.

    Experiences with ebike insurance

I've read of a number of instances (inlcuding stolen bike reports on BikeIndex.org) where the bike thieves take the lock. Perhaps they don't want to leave anything behind (with fingerprints) as evidence?

    What to buy

I'm a new owner of a Pedego Boomerang with 48v 15Ah battery, hub drive, with pedal assist and throttle. This past weekend I went on a 20 mile group ride with other Pedgo riders along paved bike trails with a few sections along roadway. One section was up a hill, 30 degree incline for 1/2 mile...

"Why Bikes & Ebikes Are Difficult To Find Now" - informative article

Very good information, although I recently bought two Pedego Boomerang e-bikes from my local Pedego dealer. They have at least a couple dozen bikes in stock with most every Pedego model available. The only supply issue they claim is for customers who want the more unique colors that Pedego...

    Bike Insurance

I guess I'm lucky compared to some other's experience with insuring e-bikes. My wife and I recently purchased two Pedego Boomerangs. We contacted Geico who we have our home owneer's insurance through which is actually underwritten by Traverlers. The local Geico agent checked her info and made a...

Lack of activity on this forum?

Hi, I'm a new Pedego Boomerang owner (bought two, one for me, one for my wife). There seems to be a lack of activity on this Pedego forum. Is this because there are so few problems with Pedego bikes, and/or owners don't have a lot of questions? Just curious as I see more activity on other brand...

Affordable cruiser, I've narrowed it down to 4

If you have a Pedego e-bike store near you check out the models they offer. Most if not all Pedego stores will let you test ride or even rent by the hour or day. They are not the most inexpensive bikes, but they are well made and I think you'd find a model that checks all your boxes.

    New owner with battery question

I have a new Pedego Boomerang with a 48v 15ah battery. The chart in the owner manual states at full charge the battery voltage is 58.8 volts. Why is a 48v battery at 58.8 v at full charge? Thanks for any and all advice.

Short E-Bike Warranties: Are They A Problem?

For me I appreciate a good warranty. With the initial cost of the bike I don't want to have to pay for a new battery, motor or other expensive part is it fails.

Short E-Bike Warranties: Are They A Problem?

My wife and I thought the same, so we bought two new bikes a couple weeks ago so we wouldn't encounter a supply problem later. Even though we won't ride them much for another couple of months when the weather improves we're glad we have them now.

    Unused Battery

As a new e-bike owner I see a lot of advice about batteries and if not using a battery for a period of time to charge it to about 80%. How does one charge to a certain percentage? Thanks.

What Will A Cold War With China Mean To Ebike Industry ?

I read that Pedego switched manufacturing from China to Vietnam some time ago because of the "tariff war" on China.

    Battery voltage = charge percent

Looks like I should use the column for the 52 volt battery since the specs for my 48 volt battery says 58.8 volts at full charge. Thanks for the chart.

Short E-Bike Warranties: Are They A Problem?

That's why I bought a brand with a 5 year warranty (lifetime on the frame, 5 year prorated on battery) and a great reputation for customer service.

    Battery voltage = charge percent

Is there a chart or a way to figure charge percent based on voltage level for a 48v 15a battery?

Recommendation for a cover for two bikes

I'm looking for a cover that will fit over two bikes (Pedego Boomerangs 24" & 26"). The cover will be used occassionally while motorhome camping, mainly at night to keep bikes protected and less visible. I'd like it to be waterproof. I've looked at a number of these covers on Amazon, so any and...
