Will this be the hottest 2020 S pedelec commuter ebike ?

But if it will really do 45 mph, it will have almost 2X the power needed for 28 mph and that would make it grossly over spec'd for 28 (and at 15.5?). One can only guess at how much weight and cost is wasted building for the demands of 45 mph, but then the 45 may just be a rumor. At any rate...

    Turbo Levo Tuning

Absolutely. 2,299 was put into my cycling computer and its speed/odometer readings match those on the Bloks display closely enough so that I have not noticed a difference.

    Turbo Levo Tuning

FWIW, my Vado 3's circumference measures 2,299.

    2020 or 2019 Turbo Vado 5

Can understand your aversion to 28 mph, but don't necessarily agree it is wise. There are many times which occur frequently when addition speed is just plain safer, moving into traffic to execute a turn; a narrow windy road where it is unsafe for cars to pass, but they will try; going faster to...

York County,Pa. USA YCP Bans all ebikes on local rail trail

MIght I suggest an alternative? A Kitchen Aid food mixer is in virtually every kitchen. It is easily handled, quiet, pleasant to use . . . and at 325 watts, more powerful then the standard e-bike motors which are limited to 250 watts.

York County,Pa. USA YCP Bans all ebikes on local rail trail

Ahh, things are well in hand. After all Black & Decker makes line trimmers that are more powerful (40 V.) than e-bikes. And who would outlaw weed whackers.

York County,Pa. USA YCP Bans all ebikes on local rail trail

Please ignore this if it turns out I am a fool sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong. But it seems to me! If the Park is arguing it is a matter of insurance coverage, then should not one ask how the insurance company (and its lawyers) are interpreting the key phrase...

    Orbea Gain E-Road Bike

When in Level 1, 2, 3, what percentage of the motor's power is being used? If this were known, it would be easy to estimate the cost in power to move up a level.

    Please help me EBR!!

That's a problem. Maybe I got dumb lucky. Have been a roadie since forever and wanted a e-bike with drop bars, but couldn't find any. Gradually it dawned on me that the e-bikes which sold were available were urban or MTB. All had T bars. So started telling myself, you're not going to...

Brose unveils new drive and battery system

Bosch created the mid-drive segment. With its run away success, others followed, but are playing catch up, though Brose's belt drive is a plus.

    Please help me EBR!!

If I were in your position, I would first create a short list of e-bikes offered in "extra large" or "large" size that fit my price point. Second, in the EBR website go forum section "Discussion by Brand & User Reviews" and check out the user comments on brand, model on your list. Third...

    Light weight eBikes review

A big reason a Class 3 e-bike being so heavy is the additional power needed to maintain a 29 mph speed puts additional stress on the bike and increased strength. Recall, twice as much power is need to maintain 27 mph as 18, wind resistance increases at the cube of speed. Those light weight...

    Light weight eBikes review

Those EU bikes are light, but also limited to 16 mph. Wishing for at least Class 1 really with my Vado's doing Class 3 I won't be switching soon (but can't help but envy the weight).

    Motor wattage differences question

"he difference between a 20ah battery on the CCX vs. the 13ah battery on the CCS you purchased. That's a big deal though, only on trips of 20 miles or more, where you are using a lot of battery power . . . " But then do you consider the fact the recommended battery usage is in the sweet spot...
