Mid drive and cadence upper limit (top end).

very true Thomas, i have the BBS02, very difficult to go out for a leisurely ride, the system always seems to want to get up to that 120rpm area, pulling back the pas level slightly helps, i think that`s why the BBS range are more demanding on the battery as opposed to the torque motors

Mid drive and cadence upper limit (top end).

Also think the BBSxx range have a high natural cadence, far too high imo. No matter what pas level you`re in you get the impression you`re always trying to keep up with the motor.

New Battery choice, 48v or 52v

Interesting you mention the lack of pack stencils/cell dividers, do you also not think there would be a heat issue with the cells being glued together?

New Battery choice, 48v or 52v

Looking for a battery replacement These two options are similarly priced, both using the Sanyo NCR18650GA 3.7V 3450mAh 10A cells. I see in the U.S. the 52v setup is more popular with the BBSHD mid drive setups, i`ll be using it presently with my BBS02 and probably later with the HD version...

    IGH

Yes Ann the Alfine has only been on for a couple of weeks. everything positive so far, just don`t know how it will handle the torque of the BBS long term, time will tell. Possibly the selector adjustment is similar to the Nexus, select 4th gear and line up the two yellow dots on the hub via the...
