Agree with Marcela. Had my Vado 5 off-road few times. Objects get stock between fender and tire. Specially when wet. Mud got stock and had hard time to get out all mud accumulation. Other than that it worked like champ.

Do you hear the rattling of the lock when riding? Looks great. I couldn’t install mine without modification and returned it. I will try again.

I just watched a video of a lady with Specialized turbo bike who was charging the battery with solar power while she was riding cross country. This was posted on this forum. womder how was that possible.

I had this issue when my 2020 Vado 5.0 was new (surging). My bike was still under warranty then so they changed display first and then the motor. I have been fine since then with 3,000 miles. I am sure yours does not have the same issue as mine. mid only happens on uphill it points to heat...

Agree. I ride 2020 Vado 5.0 with TCD-W but very seldom use the MC. I have changed the assist level few times but not a big deal. Not a deal breaker for me. As I get older I find smaller frame and even step through (as opposed to step over diamond frame) is a better option for older...

Just jumped in to see if Vado 5 price has increased. Still US$4,600 but out of stock on all sizes. Will hold on to my Vado 5 tightly (paid US$5,050 for it in Sept. 2019.)

I have done it several times. It depends on how strong rider you are I had my bike mostly on sport mode and some even eco. I did use turbo on occasion.
