    Car Rack for Aurora Ltd

This thread is pretty old, but seems to be the best place to update everyone on the Thule EasyFold XT (which I just "discovered" in the parking lot of our local bike trail). Just received mine via Amazon, but they're also available from etrailer.com for the same $800. Obviously not a cheap...

Definitely sounds abnormal. Just checked mine and without peddling, acts just like a moped. Of course, if you're in low gear, acceleration is quick and in high gear, it's pretty sluggish from a dead stop. Interestingly, PAS levels seem to have no effect with throttle only.

How much taller? Any issues with the cables and wiring? How about a photo!

UPDATE ON ATLAS RANGE: Currently on my 3rd battery charge and I'm at 45 miles with 31% battery left. Mostly flat terrain here in Northeast Ohio and I'm running PAS 1 most of the time, with an occasional PAS 9 on steep hills! One item of note is the 3 amp charger, unlike any of the other ebikes...

New : Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Belt Drive

I'm currently using the Saris Freedom 2, which is a very compact and lighweight rack that's rated for (2) 60 lb ebikes (for about $300), BUT loading the inside bike is not real easy with the center post design.

New : Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH Belt Drive

Take a look at the Thule EasyFold. Very slick with a lot of features. Not cheap, but just reduced to $800 at Etrailer.com and Amazon.

    Aurora Limited = = real-world Battery Range

Wind, hills, and speed can certainly make a difference. PAS level is also a big factor. Our ride yesterday was closer to 20 mph. My 2019 ALE seemed to do better but I was usually at PAS 1. It's funny, but with my original motor, PAS 1 was great but the wife had to use PAS 2 to keep up. When...

Yes, you definitely have to let up on the peddle pressure, especially if upshifting and if you're at LO gear and want to go all the way to HI, it doesn't want to go with a single twist. You have to turn the crank just a little to get it all the way up! What really puzzles me is that when I had...

    Aurora Limited = = real-world Battery Range

Similar results here in Ohio. The wife was on her 2022 ALE and I was riding my new Atlas. We put 30 miles on our local 'Rails to Trails' paved path and she ended up with one bar on the display and one red bar on the battery. She rides primarily at PAS 2 except for a few short/steep hills near...

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. It's pretty subtle but worth giving it that extra twist. It is somewhat annoying that you can't get that thing to shift from LO to HI with a single twist. Not sure if that action will improve during break-in!

AHicks Just wondering if you were able to confirm that you are getting the full gear range after adjustment? I just took a 14 mile test ride along side my wife and her Aurora LE (Automatiq) and at 20 mph, her cadence was significantly slower than my Atlas at it's highest ratio. I figured the...

Normal shifting on my Atlas requires a firm twist but nothing that I perceive as abnormal. But, under load it certainly does not want to twist. And yes, you are best to gear down at any stop if you anticipate a quick getaway. In the lower gear ratios, acceleration is pretty good when using...

Sure, really looking forward to testing out the range, which I think will be stellar. I was out of town last week so didn't get a chance to run it. I had the Aurora for 1.5 yrs and 1,500 miles and it would go about 30 miles and show about 1 bar left (although the display would usually indicate...

FIRST POST! [Owner of Aurora LE since Feb 2021 that was ordered Nov 2020]. Just received my new Atlas on Aug 9th and feel it's going to work well for me. Really like the Bafang drive and display/controller since it has more features and settings than the current Dapu display (had the Bafang...
