    Como 5.0 IGH & Vado 5.0 IGH

I actually went out and tried after my post above, I managed to hit 94 for only about 2 seconds going downhill in the fastest cadence setting (although only on Eco assistance). Essentially I was windmilling against no resistance and I could keep in the high 80s downhill... on the flat low to mid...

    Como 5.0 IGH & Vado 5.0 IGH

Wow, respect! I couldn't even get up to 93 downhill with full assistance... I just can't move my legs that fast even with no resistance, 110 is outta this world! 👍

Trust me Stefan... by comparison to me you rank as an elite athlete! (and I love your posts!)

    New Schwalbe Tires

I guess one day (in my ideal future) I'd love to feel confident enough in my own strength/fitness/suppleness where I could enjoy and benefit from a lovely bike like the Creo in addition to my happy shopper routine! but it's one (small) step at at time for the moment! More power to those of you...

    New Schwalbe Tires

@Stefan Mikes & @Twowheelxtc .. I think I/we may be looking for quite different things ... you guys are operating at much more of sportier end of the spectrum, speed isn't terribly important for my recreational/exercise/grocery shopping sort of use case as all my cycling is still far quicker...

    New Schwalbe Tires

^ this is strange, I bought Marathon E Plus tyres last year for my previous e-bike conversion... and then read all the horror stories 🤦‍♂️ and saw the how-to videos on YouTube about got quite concerned about fitting them and repairing a tube if I ever got a flat. But I needn't have worried at...

Considering a Specialized, got a few questions

This sounds like a wise decision to me, you never know how you needs may change in the future... if you can afford it, do it, cos it'll me mighty expensive to change later, second hand e-bikes are worth virtually nothing 😭 I went overboard and got a Como 5.0 IGH just as insurance power &...

    Como 2022+ Handlebar Question

Absolutely brilliant, thank you very much for this, your information is invaluable. I hope you get many, many miles of comfortable bicycling on it. 👍 As a long term sufferer with back (and leg! issues) 🤦‍♂️ I "may" need to do a similar mod but in my case to give me an even more upright riding...

    Specialized releases Turbo Tero X

^ Hope this info helps.... I've got a Como 5.0 IGH (UK model not one of your fancy US class 3 jobbies!), the automatiq is great but there does seem to be a fair bit of resistance if you ever ride it unassisted, what this means is that the battery only takes me about 6-7 mile per 10% decrease. I...

    Firmware update for charging limit

^ The "Specialized University" video on YouTube shows it as an "Enviolo Cal" option in the Settings menu... but that isn't there on my bike either!

    Firmware update for charging limit

^ Funnily enough, I've just been looking at calibrating the Enviolo Automatiq hub on my Como 5.0 igh this evening and it doesn't appear in the settings menu where my manual says it should be (under the "options" menu) but "options" isn't even an option!!!! A forum search returned this post about...

VADO or COMO (TCD-W Display Retrofit Kit) (S199900067)

Marco, make sure the contacts inside the unit are clean and battery is connecting with them properly... BTW, was there any life at all on the display with the old battery (if there was, try putting it back in and see if any life returns) and if you can check the voltage on the old one too just...

VADO or COMO (TCD-W Display Retrofit Kit) (S199900067)

^ Hi Marco, it looks like you still have the mounting bracket attached to the display, it should just twist off now and allow you access to the cover Stefan mentions: see if this thread helps
