    Bought Cannondale Topstone Neo5

Congrats on finding one, they've been hard to find this last year! The Lezyne headlight is awesome, I've been impressed. Nightrider came out with a new 1k lum light that I've got here in the shop, been impressed with that too. The rack I have is made by Racktime and has an integrated tail...

    No More Yamaha-Powered Haibikes?

Eh doubtful. The US market has too much potential and Yamaha knows that on their powersports side. They need to figure some things out but they're here to stay as evident by how many Giant bikes use their drive units.

Specialized teases details of Globe Bikes sub-brand Cargo eBike

Because the notion of "value" is false. Are those bikes a good deal? Sure, but you bought a "deal" not a cargo bike that will perform day in and day out, oh, and not burn your house down with a battery fire. Especially in cargo application, hub drives don't have a place.

Specialized teases details of Globe Bikes sub-brand Cargo eBike

I feel bad for any Spec dealer that "has" to work on that piece of crap. Good thing Spec is moving more towards consumer direct, I'm sure dealers are going to be stoked when they're filing warranty claims and dealing with issues from a bike they're forced to work on.

Known Issues & Problems with Specialized Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Like an Aerospoke or something? I suppose it's all a matter of finding wheels spec'd in the correct size, also don't forget the rear is boost spacing (depending on year of bike) and needs to be 6 bolt for the magnet. If you want something strong I'd go with a handbuilt set of Velocity...

    Cannondale Topstone Gravel Ebike

I've got those bars and Kiox on my Topstone Neo 5, you'll need to source a different mount for the switch cluster since you can't slide the stock mount around the flared portion of the bar. I used a Specialized headlight mount as it has a quick release style lever opening so I can clamp it to...

    Open Letter to Specialized

That's not really true. The margin is split with direct online orders, the retailer gets some, just nowhere near what they would if they stocked the bike. Also there's various "hoops" one has to jump through to show up on various locators in addition to overall sales volume too. It's not that...

Technically the high step is stiffer on paper, whether you can notice it or not is a different topic (most folks can't save for larger/heavier riders). Amazing you still bought this bike given what you went through. Additionally baffling you went with a Brose motor after stating how hard you...

Additional Battery For Gazelle Ultimate C380+

There's only 2 chargers for the North American market, the 2a and 4a, 6.5hrs 0-100% and 4.5 0-100% respectively (charge times). The 2nd battery setup is pretty darn slick. Both batteries charge via the 1 charge plug and the bike draws on both batteries at the same time so the duty cycles per...

Changing Vado SL 4.0 fork and fork type...

As stated swapping to a 26" fork would be a bad idea. There are a few forks out now designed for gravel riding that have smaller suspension travel, both Fox and Rockshox have models. I don't see any details in the spec's but That headtube sure looks like it's tapered...

    We need bakfiets!

The front loaders are AWESOME to ride. We did a huge overnight bikepacking trip and I drew the "pack mule" straw. Rode the Cube Cargo Sport with about 150lbs worth of gear and 3 extra batteries. I think we rode about 30 miles and an easy 4k ft of elevation on some gnarly gravel roads. The front...

Or get it from us and save on the sales tax, also our RTR shipping ensures the bike arrives 2 steps away from riding! Synchrony does 0% for 12 months, not as sweet as Klarna but something to consider! https://www.oregon-ebikes.com/collections/gazelle-electric-bikes Gazelle is a fantastic brand...

    We need bakfiets!

Did you see that Porsche has been heavily investing in the e-bike motor game too? I think it's going to be pretty wild over the coming years! Closed my old shop toward the end of 2020, now I'm part of Oregon E-Bikes...

    Ultimate T10+ or Ultimate 380

If you're riding on MUP and/or not commuting or riding with traffic a class 3 isn't always good. They use more battery (because they make more power) so the range can be negatively impacted (highly dependent on the rider and conditions though). I'd say, if you like driving stick shift cars, then...

    Open Letter to Specialized

Did you end up getting something else? Sounds like there's a shop in your area? Did you try to see if they could get the bike? Specialized has two separate inventories so sometimes their site says "in stock" and dealers don't have access to said product. Bummer about the Klarna issues and...

    We need bakfiets!

There's several front loaders available in the states now, that's the Urban Arrow that's owned by Gazelle. Both Cube and R&M also have front load cargo bikes, pretty cool!!

    Ultimate T10+ or Ultimate 380

Odd comparison as the intended use is pretty different between the two bikes. The T10+ will feel more traditional in terms of riding characteristic. Both due to the frame design as well as the chain/derailleur. The C380 is pretty slick but the Enviolo rear hub isn't a slam dunk for everyone...
