    Suspension Seat Post

The intent with the Thudbuster was to smooth out bit hits on a hard tail so it's not going to do much for little bumps. The Kinekt is the most popular that I've found for smoothing out the ride, it's a bit more expensive but they're a great company with awesome support. The basic non dampened...

    Gazelle Medeo T9 Range?

We're using the T9 Cities (Active motor, less power) as our early season rental bikes until the Arroyo's show up. We've had folks do 35+ mile rides and can have anywhere between 20-40% battery left. Hood River is REALLY hilly and windy and most folks run higher assist since they're on vacation!

    Cadence monitor

I suppose if that's the ONLY piece of data you want, justifying the Kiox or Nyon doesn't really pencil out. Putting two computers onto a bike doesn't make sense to me unless it's a GPS head unit for navigation, but to each their own!

Tern GSD/HSD: Do you load it into your car? How does it fit?

Most folks that pick up GSD's and HSD's just flop the bars down and load into the back of their car/SUV of all sizes, as previously stated. You might want to check out the P9 Performance, it hasn't gotten much news but is a pretty neat model from a bang for buck perspective. It's basically the...

    Tern Vektron P8 vs D8...

The D8 is no longer made by Tern and it's just the Vektron P9 and S10, they're exclusively Bosch powered now.

    No More Yamaha-Powered Haibikes?

According to the parent company, the Haibike licensing will no longer continue in the US and I suspect those models will be integrated into the Diamondback brand and stay exclusively Bosch for 2023 moving forward. We got a couple Allmtn 3.0's for 2022 but otherwise Haibike is done in the US.

Jones H Bar 2.5 on Ultimate

36" inseam, holy legs! I suspect you've got the 57cm frame? Really you should be on the 61cm they offer in the EU but not over here. As stated control cable is going to be the limiting factor. The brake hoses and shifter cable can be lengthened, but the Purion cable length is the real limiting...

    Trailer addition

Depending on what you're looking to tow, as previously stated, Burley makes some fantastic options. The Coho is really cool especially with the Nuvinci rear hub. You get the specific rear axle nuts that attach to the bike and the trailer attaches to that. Also the new pet trailer, the Bark...

Suspension fork for Yamaha Cross Core

Just order the stock fork on the Cross Connect, should drop right in.

    Yamaha Wabash suspension fork?

Should be able to run the fork equipped on the Cross Connect, the main frames should be the same.

    Cadence monitor

It's definitely a labor intensive install. It's not "complicated" per se but you will probably have to drop the fork and motor to run the wires down there. Only gotta do it once though!!

    Cannondale Topstone Gravel Ebike

I think this is a pretty relevant question to the model family as each Topstone Neo, non SL bike has different wheel specs LOL. Topstone Neo 5 has 142x12 and 110x12 hub spacing Topstone Neo 2 Carbon has 148x12 and 110x12 Topstone Neo 3 Lefty has 148x12 and whatever goofy front lefty hub I have...

    RAGBRAI 2022

There can be up to 30k people per day depending on where the route goes. It's very much a "choose your own adventure" in the sense of having it fully catered or all the way to sleeping in people's front yards. Going with a semi-catered group isn't a bad idea if you don't mind sleeping on the...

    RAGBRAI 2022

Heck yeah that's great to hear!! I've done it every year since 2017 and even taken some of my customer's bikes out when driving from Oregon. Bosch usually has a support truck there, Trek brought a bunch of e-bikes (all Bosch stuff), and I've seen Gazelle there too. There's been consistent growth...

    Cadence monitor

While the Purion display is plenty reliable it's pretty limited in it's data. Upgrading to Kiox or Nyon is strongly recommended for a couple reasons. The available data (cadence, heart rate monitor pairing, rider power, etc) is amazing, they're both color screens. Nyon is touch screen. They...

Considering a Gazelle, Pros and Cons?

We just got our C8's and C7's in the shop, what an impressive bike! I love the changes they made on these revised bikes! The tires included with the bike are plenty capable for gravel/trails!

Bulls Copperhead Wave looking for feedback

Not sure if you got your bike yet but we're starting to see some of our 2022 orders and hands down everyone LOVES the Copperhead Wave. It's a decent price point, spec'd really well, and the 625wh/CX motor will give you all the power all day! There aren't many reviews as it's a pretty new bike...

Additional Fee when buying from a motorcycle dealer

While I disagree with blatant "markups" there are things that we used to do for free and/or eat costs that simply aren't sustainable anymore. Shipping/Freight/Assembly/Prep, all of those things take time and a skilled set of hands and those hands are harder to find, thus more expensive from an...

Additional Fee when buying from a motorcycle dealer

Having been a Yamaha e-bike dealer and former GM of a 6 line motorcycle dealership, Yamaha's dealer process is long winded to put it politely. It's REALLY challenging to get signed up with them and their limited product offering is challenging to get excited about when other Bosch equipped...
