My Falco 750 W HX motor kit

Hello, I've got about 1,000 miles on my HX500w setup on a Catrike recumbent trike. I ride my Haibike and Big Bud a lot more these days so it doens't get a lot of use. I love it and it works great EXCEPT the controller heats up and shuts down the motor (thermal switch) at about 10 miles of...

    Face mask/covering for bugs?

If you don't like covering your face like me, I just pull my shirt up so it covers my mouth and nose when needed. As with motorcyclists, you'll learn to keep your mouth SHUT! LOL

Brooks Cambium Seat (19) - a little bit of heaven

I bought 3 of the most talked about comfort seats when I went back to upright bikes. The Planet Bike a.r.s is my favorite and a great seat.

    cool weather gear

Head makes some really nice thin gloves with grippy nibs that are perfect for driving your car in winter and riding bikes until it gets to freezing or so. Not through winter ,but until winter. On sale at Costco for 9.99 right now. I bought 3 pair. Been using them for years.

    Road Rash Hurts LOL

:) Watch some Youtube videos. It looks like SO much fun (and is) that I had to start learning. There are some really great teaching videos. Start with a basic wheelie and very soon you're jumping curbs. Then you really start to have fun! And I'm not talking about "hard" trails that are...

    Is 36v a Euro mandate?

I don't speak in riddles, so no, we're not in agreement. The Falco IS overheating BELOW 20mph on flat ground at 36v. And I'm pretty sure they know what their motor IS.

Feedback Wanted - Jacket for Legs

agreed. I've not found anything that lets me do work without becoming a sweaty oven. As I often overheat, anything covering my legs while still letting them breath is much better. Even rain soaked. FWIW

Bike computer with cadence suggestions needed

Wireless are really sweet until the connection fails and that ALWAYS happens. I"ve had 2 or 3 and give up on them now. Wired works and it's 1 tiny wire. (2 with cadence) The Astrale is one of the iconic speedos and works well.

Range Anxiety and a Dealer Wants Their Deposit on Trek XM 700+

5 Ebikes in the past 3 years. ALL got the mileage the manufacturer claimed they would get on the battery supplied with lower levels of assist and healthy rider peddling. The only times I've gotten less mileage than the high end of the stated range is when I'm tired or lazy and ask the motor to...
