    Ride1UP Mid Drive Teaser

I like the look of it. Kevin has hinted of a price of around $2,200 to $2,300. It's going to be with Brose mid-drive motor.

It's available for that price at Costco. They should revise the price at Priority website.

Class 3 ebike throttle separate from peddling, no peddle assist.

I think to be a true class 3 ebike, it should not have any throttle(if you're going by the books).

Class 3 ebike throttle separate from peddling, no peddle assist.

It's usually can be set up as class 3 sold, but all these bikes can easily unlocked by user for higher speed. Ariel Rider, Biktrix & Juiced have bikes that can go 30+mph throttle alone.

Priority Bicycles just launched the most affordable Gates belt mid-drive e-bike

The Current has 650B wheels. Which equals to 27.5 inch wheels.

Thanks for responding. What would be the cost of the removable display option approx.? It has several advantages for me(protect the display from the elements, make the e-bike less desirable to thieves, not having the display makes the vehicle unable to start any electronics on it). It's almost...

So far I like most of what I hear on this bike. Is the bike display for this bike set(it will depend on your final motor)? And will it be removeable? Also forgot to ask, the gearing(chainring size at front, & cassette in rear).

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Personally if I wanted to ride a fast e-bike on a budget I would concentrate at rear hub drive bike options first. You only recently switched to a mid-drive motor e-bike for first time, as all your previous ebikes have been hub motor bikes? If your wife, doesn't care for your heavy modified...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

One thing you don't take in account I'm guessing, the OP doesn't have a car. The e-bike will be main vehicle of transportation. I think a capable 28mph e-bike would be useful at times for these people(I'm one of those people). I watched this thread initially because it's talking about a class 3...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Even the Enviolo 380 CVT hub is not enough range for some(I heard complaints of people complaining of that system, including professional bike reviewers when riding 28mph bikes). It just doesn't have high enough top speed gearing(versus the regular derailleur system).

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

The Priority Current with Shimano Inter-5E has 650B tires(not 700c). And we still don't know the chainring & cassette sizes.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

That's what I trying to figure out too. I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm only aware of 2 other e-bike models available in North America with the Shimano Inter-5E IGH. It would be possible to change the chainring & cassette within limits.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

The equalizer is that you have an e-bike motor to help you both ways in going up hills & go to higher speed. A good powerful motor will compensate for that.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Sorry, I didn't check closely enough. A mid-2021 reintroduction, that's really late in the bike season. You saw the chart of the gear range of Shimano Inter-5E, I really worry it's nowhere near enough low gear range & not enough high gear range for you(for a Class 3 e-bike). It's possible to...

Sorry, I didn't realize until now, you mentioned in another thread a week ago, you already purchased the Priority Current(you're only getting it in January). Now I connected the dots. How much did you pay? And with the Shimano Inter-5E(not Enviola CVT)? It was just mentioned by someone, that...

For this level of e-bike, what about allowing the customization of the PAS levels by the user(like with Ride1Up bikes)? Would it be possible in final configuration when it's released?
