    New LMT’d - who’s in?

Lumpydog, you said in your last post you would come back here after your first ride. Anxiously waiting to hear about it.

My last sentence was referring to the positives of the fat tire, sorry if I wasnt clear.

    Juggernaut Ultra 1000 Frame Size

The 27.5x2.8 Schwalbe Super Moto X get great reviews and seem much better suited to the riding you will be doing. There are many posts about fat 4" tires being noisey on pavement, using up more battery, and as one person put it when using lower pas 1 or 2 levels like riding in fresh cement ie...

E-Bike hybrid for street and trail

Look for 2-3" tires if mainly pavement, not fat tires. They will be not as noisy and give you more distance from your battery. Also, easier to pedal if you are using lower pas. As one person's post on here regarding 4" fat tires said, " riding in pas 1 or 2 is like riding through wet cement."

jauzon, the Biktrix StunnerX has cadence sensor, not sure what the Cruiser has, do you know?. Would that make much of a difference to you?

SONDORS is releasing it's first mid-drive EBikes.

Its too bad they are only offering the huge fat tires in those three models. I just chatted with rep on their site asking about a 2-3 tire version for us commuters, paved street etc. but he said not an option on those new models.

Luna Cycle X1 Enduro FS (Bafang M600 / Dengfu M09)

Pushkar, I am looking at your new City Commuter with m600, shimano 5 speed igh and maybe their electronic shifting and want smooth refined torque and will be riding on a few steep paved hills. Should I be waiting till EOY and you get new configuration as mentioned in these recent posts by you...

Suggestion Dost Drop or Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000

It also comes with Schwalbe Super-Moto-X Tires 2.8 tires as an option. They get great ratings for what they are designed for. Do you think that would be a better choice for 90% paved neighborhood riding and 10% packed dirt roads in my local area? Thanks

Luna Cycle X1 Enduro FS (Bafang M600 / Dengfu M09)

tomdav, you mentioned in your initial post. ". I did not upgrade to the Ludi controller as the stock M600 power should be more than adequate and range is more important to me." I wonder if the other controller would have made any difference in your experience? Does controller have anything to...

Know of any cheap 28mph city-commuter bikes, with Nuvinci N380 hub?

AlexZ, thanks for the update from Pushkar but the Rohloff at 1,000 probably is out of my range so I would probably be looking at the Shimano 5 speed. Are there some concerns I should have with that setup. I don't know much about the Shimano. Any negatives I shoukd becaware of. Thanks

Know of any cheap 28mph city-commuter bikes, with Nuvinci N380 hub?

Here is a quote from another Evelo Auora Limited owner. He gave a rather lengthy review of the bike but this part referred to his battery range experience. "Battery Range. Have never ridden it down to dead. Estimate my riding style has a 35-37 mile battery range. I use PAS 1-2 as much as...

    Hello, Evelo. Please respond.

Thanks for the link. I had heard that the motor used on the Evelo Auora Limited edition was a specific one made for Evelo by Depu so glad to see an explanation from Evelo.

Bicycle sales over the past two months saw their biggest spike in the U.S. since the oil crisis of the 1970s,

Interesting article which also talks about surge in ebike sales. I knew it had increased, but didn't realize the amount of increase! https://www.ksl.com/article/46764746/pandemic-leads-to-a-bicycle-boom-and-shortage-around-world

Electra Cafe Moto is now $4,500 according to their site. AlexZ, did you have a preference for throttle or no throttle?

Suggestion Dost Drop or Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra 1000

tomdav, I think there is some question if the Evelo Auora Limited uses the same motor as the one reviewed in that article. In another thread Evelo was quoted as working with Dapu on another 750 motor with them. May be the same motor but not sure. I hope someone is able to find out. Thanks

    Rize x or Rad Rover

Torque sensor, bigger motor, hydraulic brakes, bigger battery would sure make me think twice.

    New Review Desired

tomdav, I found the information in the article you just linked to that made me think the Dapu motor was made specifically for the Evelo Limited. This is part of the quote. Thanks for that link. "There are still plans for a Dapu motor belt drive Aurora with 3 inch tires. Our communication with...
