Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I can buy a Como 5 IGH for 2500€ or a Como 5 SL (with the basket) for the same price. What a dilemma.

So, a Como SL is not a really good idea to have a lighter bike (the Como is really heavy, it can be difficult to handle in some situations).

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Why it should be upgraded with a new heavier battery ? It's indeed pretty heavy (20kg).

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Hi, Will there be a new Como SL soon ? I would like a Vado SL (because it's the lightest) but I prefer the aesthetics of the Como.

I'm going to 3D-Print a "thing" to hold my U-Lock ; I will fix it between the seat post and the rear wheel. :)

I So, it's normal, the bike is really not made to be ridden without assistance. Got it !

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Not really ; the rear wheel stops fairly quickly. The rear wheel stops quite quickly. The front one turns for 20-30 seconds while the back one turns for about 5-8 seconds when I turn them manually. I don't feel anything special about handling them, though...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

So, the seller lied to me, kind of... Specialized advices 12kg max but I think it's a lot. Do you use the official one ? 150$ + 50$ for the basket ? I'm gonna 3D-print a MIK Adapter for a closable one. Tires are not that large ? Sure, the bike is heavy, but the difference is less than...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Hallo, I need a front rack (and basket) for my Como but I don't need the (price of) the official one. Can you recommend something else ? The seller told me it's possible to ride in the Off mode but...seriously ? It's possible but it's really, really hard ! Is it normal ? I know that the bike is...

    A few questions about a Como 3.

You're absolutely right. I'm almost always in the red but I can't keep up the rhythm; I use a low gear anyway, I can't do it very well. I have really no breath and no power in my legs.

    A few questions about a Como 3.

I pedal at a low cadence (around 30/40 RPM) and without force. Does the motor still deliver this power? Because I start off fast (I'd even say I accelerate very fast), but then it pulls me along at about that speed without tiring me out.

    A few questions about a Como 3.

A Como Turbo, the one that costs like 4500€, 90 Nm. I can't find a good basket for this handlebar. I like the automatic radar (very useful) but I can't afford a so expensive bike.

    A few questions about a Como 3.

Hi, I tested a Como 5 today and it was a little bit strange ! First I had to choose the cadence and then the bike adapted: it's not very different from changing the gear yourself, but more automatic. I didn't really feel any difference with the Como 3 in terms of speed or climbing. The...

    A few questions about a Como 3.

I think I'm really weak because I pedal softly and without force ; there are 3 mode (eco, sport and turbo, except the off mode of course) and I always use the turbo one (as with all the bikes I've tested, I'm really looking for maximum assistance). The bike starts very quickly (I don't have to...

    A few questions about a Como 3.

No, it's more my speed on the flat...I can go at 18-19 kmh but it's tiring and exhausting if I go at 22-23. But it's the case with all the bikes I ride. I get the point, they want to put the cyclist first, not the engine. Thanks for the helmet, looks great ! :)

    A few questions about a Como 3.

Hello, I rent a Como 3 (for a month) and it's very comfortable to ride. It's even pleasant. I'm still having trouble getting up hills or going faster than 15 km/h, and I'm still not sure whether electric is for me (a much lighter bike might be just as pleasant, but a bit slower). As I'll be...

    A highly assisted model ?

The second bike I rode was a Riverside 520E ; actually, it was not so bad and very responsive. I found it shook a little more and I was less comfortable but it was okay. The bike seemed pretty light without assistance (compared to the Giant) but I have to add some accessories. I also found the...

    A highly assisted model ?

I don't but the rent is only 10€. xD I want to pedal, but not as hard. I have the impression that without the electric assistance, I would have lost a few kmh (10 maybe with a lighter bike?), but that's all. With the low gears, I wasn't going fast, and from medium gears onwards, I was sweating...

    A highly assisted model ?

Hi, I rented a Giant Dailytour (50Nm, belt-driven, 7 speeds) for two (rainy) days. The bike costs 3300€. Today, i'm going to ride 20 km with a less expensive bike : (A Riverside 520E, only 999€). About the Dailytour : the posture was comfortable and it held up well (I was a bit scared at first...
