Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

I bought the ASA eSpeed a week or so ago, and it is in the mail from Germany still. I hope to have an update for you soon. Total price was about $200, including the tools required to pull off the casing and install the dongle.

    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

I just bought a dongle and Gen2 tools for my Haibike xduro 29. If anybody in the Phoenix area wants to use the tools for their dongle install, let me know. I'm not selling them or giving them away, just sharing them if you don't want to buy them yourself. They were about $43 USD.

Options for additional charger - xduro 29

I have found the OEM unit from Motostrano, but $180 is a bit steep for a simple charger. Are there aftermarket chargers that will work safely with the Bosch battery?

    Maxxis Hookworms

I'm glad you're liking the change! I have about 300 miles on mine now and totally love them. So very quiet and smooth.

    Maxxis Hookworms

Handling gains are superb. Just so much more stable and smooth. Speed is 7% lower at the same cadence because of the reduced circumference. I'll be putting on an 11-32 cassette when I have a few minutes, and then I expect to gain most of that speed back.

    Maxxis Hookworms

I haven't had a chance to ride much lately, so I'm not sure how different the speed readings will be. So far, I have not adjusted the tire size on the lcd. I'll do some comparing with a gps and see if I need to make a change. Let me know what you think of the tires! I sure like them.

Nah, you have the same pack I do. That thing mounted to the frame is the battery pack for my front light, and the cord isn't plugged in. It's just dangling there is all. I charge the headlight and the main battery every night, so it's often unplugged from the light itself for charging. It's a...

    Would like to go faster!

I still think there is speed to be gained from the motor, because it is being limited by the display. But I recognize and accept that the RR motor is not wound for higher speeds, and that any gains, if I can find them, will be small. Vincent, I'm not sure what the Sondors bike has to do with...

Same rims, same brakes. Our rims are 3.25", and the tires bead nicely. The bike rolls soooo smooth now. I ride all pavement with this bike, and I was looking for a smoother, more efficient tire.

Maxxis Hookworm 26x2.5 with Maxxis 2.5-2.7 DH tubes. Diameter drops from 29" with the Kenda to 27" with the Maxxis. No test ride yet, but I do like the look of them. :)

    Would like to go faster!

From support at RPB... "As for the display, I hate to tell you this, but changing the LCD display won't allow higher current, that is all controlled by the controller. Even if high current was allowed the bike wouldn't go any faster it would just have more power for climbing hills. We...

    Would like to go faster!

The new KT-LCD3 arrived from Lunacycle, but I'm not having any luck with it. It plugs in fine, but the power won't stay on. It lights up when I press the power button, but that's all. It won't remain on when I let the button go. I'm working with Luna to see if it is a bad part or just not...
