    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

Take a deep breath. Mountain bikes on trails went through the same process of rejection before they were accepted, too.

    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

Like I said, a sprocket change will affect your cadence, but lower your output power. If you can pedal just as fast or faster with a larger sprocket, then yes, you will go faster. But you will be beyond the motor's ability to assist, and it is unlikely you will be able to maintain any increase...

    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

Sprocket change would affect your cadence (pedaling speed), but it won't make you go faster. It's just a heavy, inefficient bike is all. It's designed to run with a motor, not without it, after all. Chip it.

Nope. The limit is 20 mph, but the drivetrain will stop boosting somewhere between 18.5 and 19.5, in my experience. Nothing will get you boosting up to 20 mph unless you manipulate the speed signal somehow.

I also have a 400 wh battery, and when I was trying the B25, I could average 23 mph for 23 miles. Any faster than that and I'd lose range, and any slower than that I would gain range. Top speed I hit was 34.6 mph, but that wasn't sustainable - normal cruising speed for me in relatively flat...

    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

I think the one you want is the B32.14, not the B25. The B32 is for the US market, but from everything I have experienced and read, they are both a little glitchy. You just need a crank puller is all. It threads into the crank and pushes the crank arm off of the crankshaft. (Link Removed - No...

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

Great to hear! I still haven't received mine or heard from the vendor in awhile, so I'm not really expecting anything. Good to hear it mostly works, though. That's a significant bump in speed!

I'm still waiting for the correct version, too. I was sent the 25.14, and was told they would mail the 32.14 version and a Blackped dongle to me.

    Gen2 Bosch tools for dongle

I'm still waiting for the right dongle to arrive from Germany; the US bikes have a different limiter than the Euro spec bikes, and the part # is slightly different.

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

I bought a larger front sprocket with the dongle, but I haven't put it on. The OEM sprocket is an 18t for me, and I bought a 20t. I can pedal reasonably up to about 30 mph, but anything above that my feet are moving too quick to maintain for too long.

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

Yes, yes, yes. The warranty is voided when you fit something like this. Isn't that kind of understood by all? I'm working with Jum now to figure out what's best for my bike. I rode it 23 miles home from work yesterday, at an average of 21.5 mph. I cleared 30 mph at least once, but mostly took...

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

It's a Gen 2, identical to the one Court reviewed. So it's either a 2014 or 2015, not entirely sure. This is my bike... https://electricbikereview.com/haibike/xduro-rx-29/

Yes, I suppose it was under warranty. And yes, the RadRover is gone - I sold it a day or two after I bought the Haibike. Very different bikes.

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

Actually, yes - I have adjusted to the loss of the shift sensor, and it doesn't seem like a big deal. The Bosch drivetrain is just so good that it made normal shifting feel a bit clunky, I think. But now that I have covered a few more miles, I don't think it's really that bad. More a testament...

I have an xDuro 29er with an 18 tooth front sprocket, and yes, my feet are moving pretty quick at top speed. I have a 20 tooth sprocket as well, but haven't felt the need. Maybe with my new speed levels I will reassess after a good long trip.

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

Yes, the factory chip would of course be best. I think second best might be the badass chip that requires no access to the motor? It just manipulates the sensor/magnet combo, which would not affect shifting smoothness but would affect the speed display. But honestly, this ASA unit isn't totally...

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

Ok, so some initial feedback... 1) it works! Power no longer cuts out at 20 mph 2) the speed is accurate Some further thoughts... 1) I bought my chip from www.ebiketuning.com 2) I had no responses from them after my order from either direct emails or using their online support form 3) I...

So yes, there have been some delays with getting this dongle installed. All of them my fault. Should have some feedback soon.
