    Z1/X2 E22 frame battery

My bike with the "smaller" 24ahr battery pack weighs in at 59.96lbs as shown on my hy-tech scale set-up. The 34ahr battery add's another 6lbs to that. I thought about using 21700 a while back but the cost comparison didn't pencil out for me. I see alot of packs that are using the same...

    Z1/X2 E22 frame battery

I hear you about wanting to up the existing battery's performance on your rides. Having the battery below the downtime presents it's own limitations as far as going bigger and still utilizing the same internal connection point. That was the #1 priority when I purchased my bike a while back...

Bafang Ultra Alternative Settings For Basic, Pedal Assist & Throttle Handle..

I had to click on unignore to see what he was sayin. Blah, blah, blah as usual. Got a couple of members on ignore, it's easy to do as they offer nothing constructive to the conversations anyway.

    Motor guard

Speaking of Ultra skid plates I have a few extra if anybody wants one. Also have (8) unused torque brackets that work with the BBSHD motors which I no longer use. This is my old fattire hardtail bike which is long gone I even have (3) skid plates for the same BBSHD motors to protect...

    Motor guard

The holes are already threaded so just a bolt ( the correct length ). I have since countersunk the plate and used a flat allen head screw so it is flush. The other screw was fine I was just bored. Not selling em but I made some up for my buddys I ride with that have the Ultra motors.

    Motor guard

Just made it out of some spare plate steel I had laying around. Cut to shape, bend to fit, drill 2 holes, file all edges, paint, and stencil logo in bottom ( optional ). Yeah those 2 holes don't go it far but they go in far enough to securely support the skid plate. Has no effect on motor...

    Hydra Batterie Question

First thing I would do since you got it apart already is check the #12 cell group to see if maybe one of the four batteries in that group maybe became disconnected. On an old Luna Shark pack I had I opened up and had 3 sensing wires broken off and 1 battery connection broken because the...

    Hydra Batterie Question

Lots of good info to be sure. So it's showing a problem with the #1 cell group correct? Voltage reading is 3.477v similar to the other groups except for #12. So why the red color? Did you open up the battery and isolate the individual cells of that group and load test them? If sensing wire came...

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

Deacon Blues : In my experience on using different displays the battery status or % reading was never correct. I always change it to an actual voltage display. It gives me a much better snapshot of what amount of power I have left and if I need to conserve or not. Like stated above 58.8v at...

Upgrading to a BBSHD on a BBS02 based e bike

When you first connect up your USB cable to your motor you it should load up the program grid. You will have to select "Read" on the screen to see your existing settings of your motor. BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING WRITE DOWN ALL YOUR EXISTING SETTINGS SO IF SOMETHING GETS OUT OF WHACK YOU CAN...

Upgrading to a BBSHD on a BBS02 based e bike

Spoiler alert! My Surly had horizontal dropouts too but the torque of the motor would make the axle slip under load and move forward and then your chain will loose tension and it will skip. I know all about sliding the wheel forward, setting the chain and then sliding it back and then tighten I...

Upgrading to a BBSHD on a BBS02 based e bike

Whats nice about the SA 3 spd is the parts are pretty cheap to rebuild or repair if you need to. I think the rear cogs are like 8 bucks or so. They are easy to open up and work on if you need to. I think Modern bike and universal cycles carry all the spare parts. I think the whole rear hub is...
