    Bafang Ultra Programing Cable

Until he actually reprograms his motor I will say no. Proprietary programming cable and password to specifically pair up to their software config from what I understand. I guess nobody has those cables AND even if you did their website ( Innotrace ) is not operational. Steady silence on info for...

Bafang Ultra RH crank arm - Resolved

Depends on the bike's rear triangle and the chain stay dims. See above.

    Monte Capro Ultra

Just an idea for you guys. It might be the seat actually depending on which type you have. An old bike I had a few years back would creak a bit when pedaling and it stumped me for a while until I discovered it was the seat. Might get lucky.

Discussion on Chainstay length on X2

Yes your correct shorter chain stay means tighter turning radius. Not sure what "does not loop out" means. Longer wheelbase means more stability at speed. Check out some downhill bikes the last thing they want is a wobble at speed. Been riding for a couple years now a 27.5" in the rear and a...

    Apollos for sale on C-list

Craigslist in SD has an Apollo bike for sale for $5100 and there's another Apollo bike up in Orange County Craigslist for $3400 Its rocking a Wren front fork. Sent out a text to some buddys that want to upgrade. First come first served.

    Hydra V2

If the V1 version is 70+ lbs this one I would think have to weigh in more. If everything being equal the battery is larger using the 21700 cells and having a 20ahr rating plus now it looks like their supporting a 52v system where I think before they were supplying the 48v set-up. Groups of 14...

Ebike Control/Display Settings - Can you help me determine what some of these should be set to?

Not familiar with your display. Thes are the settings for the display and not the controller correct? For your wheel size setting put a tape measure on it from the ground to the top it will be more than 27.5" if you want to be dead nuts. Check out a forum called Endless Sphere they have a ton of...

What might this be? Something new on the horizon from WW?

Boy oh boy. Branching out to yet another design. Looks like an 7/8 spd to help keep the chain somewhat aligned. Probably the popular 197mm rear end. I wonder if they could offer it up with the rolhoff or kinderlay with a gates belt? They must be flush to pursue a new model that alot of folks...

    Bafang Ultra skid plate

Hmmm I wonder where you could find a skid plate for the Ultra motor?? Just get some Galvanized sheet metal about 1/8" thick or whatever mil thickness you can find and cut it out to I think it was 4" x 6", round off the edges, hammer it with a soft blow hammer across a 2x4, dont use the motor...

    Ultra motor continues to run

Yes you do need the separate 961 display with the software to access the programming file. Easy. Correct the Best tool programer will not work with this motor.

I just sent this message to Biktrix regarding the Unprogrammable Canbus Ultra motor

GBK has the UART style motors as a kit, bare bones or just the controller if thats all you need. Here's the 52v, 30a, 1000w UART controller I just got from them earlier this week.

    Ultra motor continues to run

In your opinion. Not mine. Why do you think I have a bike with a 1500w motor? It's to utilize that extra power for my benefit. If I wanted a bike to just give a little extra push I would of got a bike with a 250w motor. Maybe having some cut-outs would of possibly help keep the bike in check...

    Ultra motor continues to run

Started off on my first e bike and had the brake cut-outs. Quickly disliked how they would kill power if say for example climbing up a technical section and having to brake a bit to correct course and then NOT having that extra push made for some problems. Never have had an instance where I...

Opinion: AM1000 V6 vs Ultra CC Fat?

I started off on the e-bike journey like alot of you guys. Found out about the company up in El Sagundo and built up some bikes with the BBSHD motors. Great motor but you got to find the right frame to build up to make it worthwhile. Loved the motor and thought that as the the only way to go...

    Ultra motor continues to run

The Anderson power connection isn't the problem, in fact I replaced the pos and neg wires and have a male XT90 connector that is long enough to fit up inside the downtube which makes installing/uninstalling the motor alot easier. Like I said above the problem has not surfaced again. But if it...

    Ultra motor continues to run

Got 3 more rides in since my "issue" happened. So far all I have done is swap my 750C display for my 500 and all has been good. Still think it's a controller glitch but we'll see. Got my new controller today and it came already mounted inside the removable motor housing so if I ever need to use...

I just sent this message to Biktrix regarding the Unprogrammable Canbus Ultra motor

Controller showed up today and just an FYI to anyone else who orders one they come already mounted to the motor housing so no need to remove the old one on your existing motor, just split the case and unplug your phase leads and add a bit of grease if needed and your good to go. This one is UART...

I just sent this message to Biktrix regarding the Unprogrammable Canbus Ultra motor

Just ordered a spare UART controller from GBK and they still had UART bare bones motors for about 7 bills. Get em before their all gone.

    Ultra motor continues to run

Just odd that the issue went away right after showing up. Didn't crash or alter the wiring positions as far as I can tell. I will be swapping out the parts I listed above and we'll see how it goes.
