I consider 30 miles a long distance. I don't have the time or inclination to ride further. I ride 12-20 miles about 5 days per week typically. Mostly for the calorie burn, heart rate benefits and to clear my head. I'm not entirely opposed to greater distances....but my current mode most suits...

Stefan your SL came with Shimano brakes right? Or just Shimano drivetrain and Tektro brakes? My 2022 has SRAM NX drivetrain w/ Tektro brakes. My pads have lasted me for a long while though I have backup pads and rotors standing by at the ready.

My Vado came with an additional "class II" sticker unpeeled and ready for potential application within the included paperwork while the appropriate Class III sticker was already affixed to the bike frame.

I have same mirror and keep mine facing downward as well. It is out of the way...easy to become accustomed to...and highly effective. You'll get used to it too.

Depends on your terrain, build, and environment. Knock on wood I'm a light rider running tubes going on a year now without a flat. No muss and no fuss. I'm cautious about maintaining correct pressure. That is all.

Well things are becoming strange: My 2023 Vado 4.0 charge limiter works perfectly with the Specialized app. My 2022 Vado SL 4.0 charge limiter is completely ignored during charging resulting in 100% charge every time. One is Mastermind....the other is not. Could be the difference? Geez...

This 'use case' for an e-bike just warms my heart! There are so many cyclists young and old that merely assume that "e-bikes" are more motorcycle than bicycle.
