    First Flat!

Same. I don't have problems with the non tubeless ready tires. The tubeless ready tires. I can't get the last bit over the rim

    First Flat!

At the risk of sounding repetitive .....I simply did not have the hand strength to muscle it on.

    First Flat!

Some are missing the point. I had zero problems removing and reinstalling the Pathfinder Sport tires on my bike. Now I have Panaracer GravelKing slicks and I cannot get that tire back on the rim after removal...not when brand new....and not after 2000 miles of riding. So If I have a flat...

Thank you. I guess I have weak hands. I had to go to the LBS again

    First Flat!

Here is the real question. When I got these Panaracer Gravel King Slicks about 2,000 miles ago....I could NOT get them on the rim and had to take it to my LBS for assist. After the time/miles will those same tires be easier to remove/install?....or should I just drop off the bike?

    First Flat!

I've considered it. The salt isn't worth the rub for me. 1 flat in 2500 miles I say!!!....no messes...no rituals. I'd say that I was doing just fine without a tubeless setup.

    First Flat!

2,480 miles on my Vado SL and today I had my first flat. We had a storm last night...I left the house and all looked fine. I crossed the street to find a LOT of storm debris in the streets. I didn't think too much about it....then caught a flat some miles from my house. It was not a good...

    garmin varia is excellent

As far as audible alerts: On my Vado 4.0 I rely on the TCU for chirps and it is typically adequate. On my Vado SL which is a non-Mastermind equipped bike I use the Garmin Varia phone application. When riding the SL and using my phone app for the Varia I use my Shokz headphones connected to my...

    garmin varia is excellent

Hopefully minimal. 99.9% of the time for me a notification indicates an upcoming vehicle.

    garmin varia is excellent

I know...old thread but... Man this Garmin Varia has been FANTASTIC. The only 'false alarms' (if you even consider this to be a false alarm) is when the Varia picks up cross-traffic/perpendicular traffic after crossing through a street...and I don't find this to be an irritant whatsoever. The...

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

You kind sir are a goddamn genius! Now if only you did a step-by-step Youtube video which instructed all of us lemmings how to accomplish this bit of electrical engineering.....then I would award you with a medal!

Creo 2 Tires Alternatives for Road

I like my gravel king slicks for exclusively street riding. I'd buy them again. I switched from Pathfinder Sports and am never looking back.

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

I do...an SL.... and often without motor power like you. My needs/rides/miles per week negate a reason to own an extended battery. I was just surprised that another rider that uses motor sparingly with an SL carries that (and seemingly unnecessary in your case) extra weight.

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

Wow!! That is a lot of technical research you've done! It is a shame that Specialized didn't simply allow an on/off light function within the app for this bike.

How to turn off Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ Lights?

Why did you ride for 3 hours without the motor but still carry your extender battery?
