    Cold weather/wind = Cold head

You can use a helmet raincover to help cut the wind but I would still add a neckwarmer like this:

    Cold weather/wind = Cold head

Oh yeah I have hit my chin on the road when the bike went sideways on black ice. My knee took the worst of it though. Since then I wear knee and elbow pads and a downhill helmet if I go out when it gets nasty.

How's the bike infrastructure where you ride?

You said it....when we are riding in a group we warn each other by shouting " F**k up truck" whenever we see one approaching from the rear stradling the right lines on the shoulder, or speeding or just generally driving in an aggressive way.

Share Your Most Memorable Ride and Why It Stands Out

My most memorable ride was the day I got my first two wheeler and learned to ride it. I can still see myself riding up and down the sidewalk at my grandparents house Christmas day on that shiny red steed with training wheels some 65 years ago. Now I watch my grandkids making that same leap of...

    Benefits of R&M?

I have ridden an R+M for 4/5 years and I would honestly not buy another one. They are overpriced. Mine came with two design flaws ( both unfixable by R+M ). Where I live there are other bikes (such as Moustache, Norco etc...) available that I would greatly prefer next time. I am a big Bosch...

2015 Gazelle Impulse - to buy or not to buy?

STRONGLY DISAGREE with Duey but the battery on that bike is very old. I would NOT buy that particular Gazelle. Instead I would look for a newer used offering with a Bosch motor. Good luck. If you buy a new Bosch powered bike you would get the peace of mind of a 2 year warranty.

My lock is a nightmare to use. Thinking about maybe a cafe lock.

Yeah I have an abus folding lock and it is a pain to use. Often I have to struggle with the key for too long to get it to open and close. I think it is because the lock is matched to the battery so the same key fits them both but not well. I would not buy another one that is for sure! I prefer...

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

Yeah I always carry a Topeak mini hand pump. It is very light, works well and I know it will not be out of charge when I need it

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

I have the Bosch pump and I like it. You charge it with a USB. It takes a bit longer on a car tire but still is quite handy.
