Both major case makers have web pages with cell layout. Sadly there are some builders that exceed makers suggested numbers and create what may be bad batteries.

For us kit builders there are controllers that read the battery voltage and adapt to 24v.36v.48v and 52v. 24v options are almost if not already unubtanium

My BBSHD is a one speed. No significant hills and I can kill it! I know it's counter intuitive here, but I sold, supported, and still ride one of the five I've owned.

In my opinion fat tires are too expensive for the return benefits. If like me you ride city streets there are no advantages and the disadvantage if the tire cost and dubious returns on the investement.
