Honestly, I don't know how the OP, Inthewind, ever got into her predicament. Going to LBS, test riding, then ordering the Como from (I'd imagine) the LBS without ever asking them whether they could and would modify the handlebar height?? How does one even do that? Makes no sense to me...

My solution for sit bones was to have a more upright sitting position via higher handlebar. Which is hard to do on the Como, of course.

I can see why you'd complain. Sounds like a great opportunity to stop and talk to young females. But too bad for you, there's Mrs. DG.... 🥹
