    Removable?

No mine is not removable without tools. Could most likely be modified but it's fine for me as I don't leave my bike unattended.

Tired wrists? Could be your hand positioning.

I agree, I just got my stuff from Evelo moments ago, same bars as stock except they point towards the rear and are about 4" overall narrower in width and a stem riser and set of the ergo locking grips. Have not installed yet but I think it will be a big improvement , I am not interested in...

    Cold Weather Biking and Batteries...

I don't remember the maker but remember seeing one bike that had a vinyl cover for cold weather riding that zipped over the battery. This would be a great accessory for someone to offer.

Tired wrists? Could be your hand positioning.

Just ordered and on the way the riser and swept back bars and ergo locking grips for my Evelo Aurora. Stock is not bad but don't want any weight on my wrists and definitely don't want Carpal problems as a life long musician guitarist I need to take care of my hands so very conscious of these...

    Evelo Aurora 2018 750w

I had the same decision to make, was going for the Delta X and instead because of a great sale, decide on the Galaxy and had it for about 2 weeks, it was a very nice bike and ran smooth but I realized after riding it that the top tube configuration just doesn't work for me. I really wanted the...

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

My dog just had a fit here about an hour ago, 7 deer with fawns walked by the window! he goes nuts, we love the wildlife here, saw a couple of Bald Eagles over the house a while ago and while out Salmon fishing this year. We had a pod of Killer Whales come into the harbor earlier in the year...

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

You hit on the head, we have the bears here almost every day, they have destroyed many of our bird feeders so we take them down at night now. Ripped a Neighbors garage door apart because he had garbage cans in there that smelled. Three were shot here last year as nuisance bears so far this year...

    Evelo Aurora 2018 750w

Mine runs like a charm no problems...IF there was a problem Evelo would be aware of it and now after dealing with this company I know I am covered no matter what. They are the best people I have ever dealt with period!!!! Great Bike! This bike has Power to spare and when you ride it is smooth...

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

I think it all depends on where you live, ride, your right in the wild it's security for the rarity of wild animals being aggressive, in the city in some areas it's a matter of survival and keeping your bike. The animals that worry me most are human, many of that species can be very aggressive...

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

Agreed and if that was the case and situation a .400 gr. bullet traveling at 1400 fps would win every time! I am a animal lover and don't hunt anymore, but if it were me or him I would put my faith in S&W.....not my Evelo!

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

As far as handguns my S&w 500 mag revolver will handle anything up to a Cape buffalo, but need to keep it in the trunk so not as ready for use. A .45 is more than adequate for black bear, if we had Browns here I would not confront one. I would be using that 25 mph throttle!

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

Hi My on bike carry in the handlebar tote is a .45 cap and I mainly ride roads in very rural areas , I never leave home without it truck or bike and so far in over 30 yrs of carry and working for LE have never needed. But would feel very vulnerable without it. More danger from crazy drivers than...

    Damn Shame About Faraday

I looked at them as well but thought the price was to high for a level one with a small capacity battery that is also hard to access. I like the easily removed type.

Dealing With Wildlife Encounters While Ebiking

Here in Oregon I have seen many Cougar but they are usually moving across the trail or sitting watching. They run off and so far have not felt threatened by any. Bears are almost a daily occurrence here in our yard and the woods behind us but have never been aggressive. I to carry pepper even...

Think tolerance for e-bikes is common? think again!

So, when they outlaw e bikes only outlaws will ride them! Typical whiners of which there are to many today. I love the whine of my bike when it’s cruising, at a nice pace..e bikes are here to stay and I make no apologies I love mine. So now she’s mad because older folks can ride as well? She...

Think tolerance for e-bikes is common? think again!

So move over to the right and get out of my way!?This is nothing compared to the rants I hear from car drivers when they are behind a group of riders four abreast holding up traffic without consideration for traffic laws!
