    Rotor Cleaning

Where did I say that I create transmission wear just to save on brake pads? As usual, you turn your reply into personal attacks, just assume the things I say and don't care to read what's actually written. Do I ever call you names or assume your personality? Do you like someone doing that to...

Etrikes that separate into two parts

I can fit the Lectric XP Trike in the hatch of my Toyota Yaris and Prius, with enough room to spare for another ebike. Taking the trike apart to two, might require disconnecting wires & control cables.. that might be something custom build but not readily for purchase.

More Rad lawsuit fallout? (good for the consumer)

I suspect with popularity of ebikes, many new riders not familiar with quick release wheel operation, combined with higher speeds of ebikes, heavier in comparison vs regular bicycles; mishaps likely occur without rider knowledge, lead to lawsuits.

    Our cat just vanished.

I noticed more recent years more neighborhood indoor/outdoor cats ingesting more pesticide or herbicide, via mouse or insects they capture & eat or just wild plants they chew on. Also more wild birds & critter die of same causes. We're really messing up the animals with all the weed killer...

    Rotor Cleaning

Of course a mechanic would say that, ask any enthusiast driver (who knows how to downshift properly) instead. When done properly, engine braking actually clear out some of the carbon build-up in the combustion chamber, allow longer engine life. Most auto transmission cars have computer assisted...

    Rotor Cleaning

I drive hybrid, looking and planning ahead allows regen braking to charge the hybrid battery instead of stepping on the brakes. Use the engine instead of brakes to slow my other vehicles. Why use the brakes when you don't have to? Less braking, less fuel is used to return to cruising speed...

    Rotor Cleaning

I use as little brakes as possible on my rides, even on my cars & motorcycles. Brakes, who needs them, they only slow you down.

    Rotor Cleaning

Been using Brillo pads for decades with no braking performance loss, most pads are contaminated to begin with, long before they start to make noise. Brillo is very effective to clean the rotor as thread topic.

    Cheap chinese crxx

I've been buying from Alibaba & AliExpress since 2015, generally good experience. I have bought 4 or 5 sets of similar cranksets, but in 152mm length for my wife's and the in-laws multiple ebikes, since they are mostly under 150cm tall. Good tips from video below:

    Cycling Shorts?

I like bib shorts when I was racing, spending 3-4 hours on the bike 5-6 days a week. Bibs have better support for the back muscles, even more conforming, less restrictive on the waist than regular bike shorts. As I get less competitive, I feel the shorts are more convenient, less hassle when...

    Cycling Shorts?

If you don't ride 7 days a week; likely you won't need 7 pairs of shorts. But once you start to log more miles on your ride, accumulate more saddle time, you will discover that the padded bike shorts do help, if not during the ride, but the ride on the day after. My comfort is important to me...

    Cycling Shorts?

No one else has the same butt as you, just put on a pair that you can afford and try others if anything causes "discomfort". If cycling daily, I would recommend at least three pairs of shorts, baby powder inside shorts to keep bacteria growing. Less expensive shorts tend not to last as long...
