    Orbea Gain for commuting?

HI all Part 10 (sure feels that way!) of first ebike for commuting 4ks to work. Orbea Gain road bike considerations? My only caveat is really the lack of a rack, mudguards and lights.

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

Just had another close look at the Quick E. Frankly speaking at its price point its pretty well the most bang for buck ebike money can buy period with Giants support network and long warranty. Very much the Toyota of ebikes. The question now is, do I need the Mercedes or BMW?

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

Dave, I'm looking at this as my one and only bike as I only have space in my apartment for one. Kind of a do it all adventure bike if you will. Change the equation?

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

Thanks David. In this case would the rockshox suspension be of benefit in commuting? That's a real selling point of the powerfly.

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

Thanks for the fenders tip. Would the rear fender interfere with the rack installation though?

    Trek Powerfly 5 for commuting?

Hi all a left field choice after my consideration of the Giant Quick E vs R&M Charger. Powerfly 5 seems nice with the Power tube battery however it doesn't come with rack, stand, lights or mudguards. The shop would fit the lights and bontrager rack and stand, but I don't like the MTB fenders...

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

To be perfectly honest in my amateur status I know the Giant will already be overkill for my needs. Having seen the R&M in the flesh, the finishing and the little touches are probably a league above everything else but it does come at a high cost. I still can't get over the fact that a $6700 R&M...

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

But why does the price of ebikes go up all the time?

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

David, exactly my thoughts. I've been able to get a quote for a good price on the Giant, which makes it exactly 50% of the list price of the Charger. Competition amongst the Giant dealers pushes the price down, while Dolomiti is the sole retailer for the R&M. At that price there's no point...

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

I did....to me, being a VERY amateur rider, felt about the same. Hence the dilemma?

Giant Quick-E vs Riese & Muller Charger

Hi all I've been debating between the Quick E and the Charger for ages. Where I live in Australia the Charger is almost double the price of the Giant. Bosch Performance CX on the R&M vs the Yamaha on the Giant. I'm going to use it mainly for commuting 4km to and from work and some occasional...

New E-Bike for aussie to commute to work around 60km round trip

Hi all I'm an aussie too in Melbourne and am currently tossing up between the Giant Quick E and the 2019 models of the Khalkhoff Endeavor 5 and the Focus Aventura. I'm aware that the Khalkhoff and Focus are a price level up. My commute is only 4km each way with some small hills so is the Bosch...
