That's a fair question. The fenders appear to be designed to have brackets anchored near the center of the tire. That nut is not close to the center. It's not clear it'll work. Juiced does sell some V-braces, maybe they are meant to be off-center.

Wow. Went on one ride. Got home and rear tire exploded. I put about 66 lbs of pressure in it. It was 35 degrees outside and 72 degrees inside (i know warm air expands). Tire exploded about 20 minutes after I brought it inside (thankfully, not when i was riding it). Since max lbs is 85 lbs...

So, I ordered the CCS2. Maybe I got confused, as i thought it came with fenders and bike rack (not juices fault). Now, it seems it doesn't. Can people post links to what fenders and racks have worked well for you (as I'll probably be buying some).

Can you say which state you are in? I've never had issues while biking on side streets in MN.

I only know of two main non-chinese bike motors: (1) Das-Kit and (2) Dapu. Thanks for all the posts so far. Some great information here, even if I didn't find exactly what I wanted.... yet.

I'm ok with a geared motor. Direct is ok, but geared is probably better. Overall, my preference for this bike is to not use a Chinese motor (even though I think Bafang motors can be ok motors). I looked at Leedsbikes (Thanks for sharing the link). They do use Bafang, so I'll pass on that...

Good information. I'm waiting for my ebike. The cost for speed is not cheap in Amp-hours. I'm still learning.

I can see banning him, if he was rude repeatedly. I don't get not having his products listed. I don't care if he just makes kit bikes. That's what a lot of companies do. He just does it in USA. But, whatever.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a kit or where to buy a motor? I'd like to install a front wheel hub on an existing bike. I'd like to use either a (1) Dapu or (2) Das-Kit motor. When I have looked at those websites, I don't see where I can order a motor. Do they only do wholesale?
