    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

https://samuelmcneill.com/2024/11/08/massive-knee-injuries-change-everything-why-ive-not-been-blogging-recently/ A cathartic retelling of my knee injury and subsequent journey. I’ve zero expectations anyone reads it fully, but if you’re suffering insomnia this may help a little…the good news is...

Interested in experience of people transitioning to a frontloading cargo bike

I do have a dealer close (where I bought my R&M SuperCharger from, but they would likely not do a super extended test ride (e.g. an over night) as it will clock up km's on a product someone else will want to buy "for new". They were talking about their partnership status changing with R&M which...

Interested in experience of people transitioning to a frontloading cargo bike

Not so sure about that comment - in NZ where I live if I spec'ed a Load with a Rohloff+HS Bosch it would exceed NZD$20,000! (USD$12K) so it's absolutely in the small car price range.

Interested in experience of people transitioning to a frontloading cargo bike

Hi Guys, Every now and then I entertain the idea of getting a front loading cargo bike like the R&M Load to perhaps replace by R&M Supercharger 2 I'd be really interested in the experience of anyone who has gone to something like that and if they've had any regrets etc. A few things (in no...

    Superdelite5

Hmm not my cup of tea in terms of aesthetics but then they do say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I just can't look beyond how they've tried to 'hide' the motor in the bottom of the frame like that ... all the Pinion bikes I've seen look svelte so this seems overkill. It feels...

    Touch up paint

After initially being frustrated with paint chips on my bikes, I’ve decided they’re part of the bike’s personality now and just accept them as evidence of well used bikes 😉

    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

Sharing a positive update! For the first time in 4.5months I was able to ride a bike … my R&M SuperCharger 2… knee rehab has been hard and it didn’t feel comfortable but got a few turns of the pedals on the driveway yesterday and then a 5km ride today. I had a short video but does not look like...

    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

This is great news and very comforting to hear! After an intensive physio session yesterday I got my knee to bend to 110 degrees but I’m absolutely paying for it today (very stiff and sore and back to about 90 degrees ROM). I’m only 2.5weeks post open knee surgery so still swelling and...

    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

Hi All I posted elsewhere on this forum that I’d fallen off my eMTB and wrecked my knee. I was dropping my SuperCharger2 off for servicing today and replace the Ergon grips (not been ridden in four months due to my wrecked knee). The owner of the LBS suggested I may want to consider shorter...

Supercharger Garmin Varia rtl515 Rack Mount

A friend of mine saw my Varia and loved it so much he tried to get one - there were none in stock anywhere so he bought the Magene which had recently been released at the time. It's worked pretty well for him but on longer rides I don't think the battery is as good as the Varia in my experience.

Supercharger Garmin Varia rtl515 Rack Mount

Nice - works flawlessly. Whilst Garmin Varia is bullet proof, the market has exploded with radars/lights now so there is a heap of choice in this space.

    Delite4/Superdelite carrier and range queries.

You can get solutions for eMTB - I’m using the system from www.aeroe.com and have mounted it on my specialised Turbo Levo eMTB. This is a full suspension bike and this racking system works: No seat post bag so I can still use my dropper post. Aeroe racking system very versatile and I swap...

Supercharger Garmin Varia rtl515 Rack Mount

Couple of previous discussions on this here: https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/garmin-varia-usage-on-ebikes.45338/ And https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/garmin-varia-radar.48115/ I’ve used the under saddle bracket on one of my bikes and on my gravel bikepacking rig I...

MY23 Riese and Muller Supercharger 2 GT Rohloff - 53cm - Warm Silver Matt

Thanks for update - sorry to hear of your achilles tendon injury. I snapped my achilles tendon years ago playing basketball and it's never really been right since so you do want to look after it. Lovely photos of the journey too - thanks for sharing!

    UBN Five commute

Good looking bike - drop bars look cool. Not sure about the positioning of the motor boost control on the handlebars. I think on the hoods would make more sense. Big push on the RX tracking features - nice if you live in the 12months free zones (which I don’t). Certainly looks sleek. So R&M...

    Delite and Homage 5

I’ve never been a fan of the design of these bikes and the rack always looks…. Odd to my eyes. The move to a pinion geared motor is intriguing! Everything I read suggests Pinions are awesome and I think geared motors are the future for e-bikes but the integration of the motor on these two bikes...

MY23 Riese and Muller Supercharger 2 GT Rohloff - 53cm - Warm Silver Matt

It’s a great set up either way - you’ll have a ton of fun! I’ve gone with this for my rear rack/bag option: https://aeroe.com/ Using that rather than a seat post bag as means I could mount on my eMTB that has a dropper post as well if wanted to. One system, could go on my R&M, eMTB or...
