I cancelled my November order. With all those new numbers available, I have to admit that the Rockstar is too large and heavy for me. Adieu Rockstar thread.

It could be as simple as increasing the max. speed in the LCD ( EBR LX review) . Is it possible that increasing max. speed automatically increase the max. watts and torque available ? It is possible that the bike need a lot more Amp. to reach 35 mph.

Nm is a measure of torque not power. In most case it's obtained with a gear box where rotational speed is sacrificed to increase torque. It's exactly like a normal 12 speeds bicycle. For this reason, a 1200 cc. road motorcycle can have only 126 Nm of torque and a slow Trial electric...

I knew they used a 25A controller instead of M620 30A , it's only a 16% power decrease I can live with, now it's 40 % less power with a 23% weight increase. I was naive, I thought they have solve the chain and cassette stress problem. Quite far from the E bike I bought.

95 NM instead of 160 NM and " grey bike broke chain while climbing " in video chasing Sondors Rockstar at 1:17 :(😡 25 lbs of dead weight.

PedalUma when your built is finished can you share some dimensions with us. I am interested in low and high saddle heights from the ground and from the lowest part of the pedals (inseam), also can you confirmed the other Sondors numbers. Thank you.

    NEW SONDORS LX

A Ferrari is sexy, a Dodge Ram not really ! but it's like colours, it's a question of tastes. I don't want to be rude with Ebiker93035, I won't comment #20.

I suggest that you add the min . and max. inseam ( length form seat top to lowest pedal height) in your bike reviews. It's particularly interesting for a non-traditional frame bike.

and they still sell the LX for a 31" lower seat height bike.

    NEW SONDORS LX

I totally agree with you on that. IMHO they just went too far. Like I said before, this bike could be a great large person sturdy E bike. Just sell it for what it is, stop finding excuses for its exceptional weight.

    NEW SONDORS LX

"There are" not "plenty of other brands out that have about the same weight to them." Back to the basics, a monster E bike handle well if you can influence it with your own weight and strength, like troehrkasse who is 6' 3". Of course they are more stable, they are more difficult to move. Based...

Color surprise me, a lot paler then I imagined but I like it. The frame has a complex design, a lot of relief, I like that very much.

Qualifying a 6" increase, verified by EBR, in lower saddle height of being "possibly a little bit taller" is, at least, questionable. It seems that BillH is also a member of your jovial club.
