Vado 5.0 IGH versus Tero 5.0 (EQ pack)

The bike is 56 lbs with the battery and the hybrid tires make it harder to ride without assist, on crowded trails I tune the eco mode to 5 percent, that helps me with control and low power feel

Vado 5.0 IGH versus Tero 5.0 (EQ pack)

I’ve had my Vado 5.0 since September, best bike I’ve ever been on, the IGH has been great for me, don’t even think about it anymore, I just get on and ride, you give yourself time to get adjusted to the auto shift and give the IGH at least a brief time to get seated. I get the feeling on the...

question jbiker1, I’m not very knowledgeable on hub motor bikes, does it still run fast no matter the gear? I have read here that a lot of people use the throttle to start out slower… you probably know more about that than I do, since you rode you HD so long

Most of the greenway is paved from union hill park back to Roswell, the greenway north in Forsyth county is all wood. I can set the assist on my bike to get 100 miles on one battery charge. The parts of the Silver Comet I’ve been is safe, parts west of Cedartown are isolated not much traffic…...

I live about 50 Miles northeast of Atlanta, I agree with you about bikes on the roads of Georgia, bikes replacing vehicles ain’t happening no time soon in Georgia. I enjoy riding the Silver Comet, I go to Piedmont Alabama to ride, the the Cobb county (east end) has a lot of traffic. The Big...

Vado 5.0 igh making a great bike better

I have the the same bike with the 24T cog, just curious did you ever try 28 mph with the fast cadence setting? A few weeks ago I did a 75 mile ride and had several chances to test it, on the slowest cadence there seems to be more load on the drivetrain ( us old folks call it lugging) so I found...

    Round Plugs? Really?

So? We can see that, what’s your point? Charger is still using the same plug,

    Round Plugs? Really?

Also the charge percentage shows on the screen if charged on the bike, so you can stop at 80% if you desire, curious if any other bikes do this

Specialized Vado 5.0 IGH Cadence Survey

My rear cog has 24T, I live in the North Georgia foothills, so flat roads are hard to find, Last week I rode the Chief Ladiga/ Silver Comet trail where I could test it on sections that were unoccupied, on a former engineered railway it could have had a slight grade, I wii be in Florida in...

Specialized Vado 5.0 IGH Cadence Survey

I just came off a 75 mile ride with my Vado 5.0 on a rail trail ,I’m definitely not an expert but what I noticed in the slowest cadence it’s hard to pull the speed up to 28 but in the fastest cadence it reaches 28 miles an hour at about a 90 , with my eyesight having trouble seeing the exact...

    Best ebike for Petite Wife?

Riders on the forum have talked about the Kona Dew-e deluxe, look at the forum for Kona bikes, I have a non-electric Kona Dew Deluxe, medium frame that my 12 yr old grandson rides, he’s at 5’ tall, had to cut the seat post, but is handling it well

Looking for a ebike that fits my need

I personally like the auto, it takes a while to learn, my Vado has 7 different settings for cadence ( I think it can be changed on the enviolo website) Once you have your preferred cadence you get on it and ride. Seems to be more for riders that like constant speed, if you like to ride full...

Luna X2 rear Axle almost failed!

I had the same issue once, what I noticed is when you turn the quick release handle make sure it is seated in the cutout slot, otherwise it will unthread the axle

Stuff I added to my Priority Current

The Redshift stem ( 100mm rise) moved my handlebars up and also made the ride more comfortable, you can make it as soft or firm as you want it, it’s easier and gives you some cushion

    2022 Specialized Turbo Vado Help

I’m 5’6” and the medium frame is perfect, your stand over height is only 24”, I’ve set my seat at 36-37” from the ground, it give you almost a full upright position. True it doesn’t look as good, but with my right leg issue it makes it great for me.

    My perfect Vado 5.0 IGH

If you are vertically challenged like me the redshift post only adds 3” to the seat height, do you still have your priority current? I’m getting a 30.9 shim from redshift( $9.99) then I can use it on my Vado, the Current also requires a different shim
