TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Oh, this is the problem. Your full battery charge would be around 54 volts. If 50.8 volts is full charge, then your battery is the fault. If you are low on voltage, then your capacity may also be suffering.

Yes. Check out this video. He talks pretty fast, but gives lots of detail on how to test your hall sensors. Only follow as you are comfortable.

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

This is normal. Thanks for checking. You can get your volt-ohm meter and check the phase wires. I’d first set one lead to the motor housing and (in no particular order) check Blue, Yellow, and Green. You should not have a short between a phase wire and the motor housing. You can also test the...

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

It would help to know what the pack voltage is before you ascend that hill and the voltage when the bike loses power. 48v packs usually has LVC at 40-42 volts. Say you had a full pack (54ish volts, assuming a 48v pack). Then the bike shuts down and you measure 38 volts. This would trip the LVC...

TSDZ2 750w losing power on hills

Sounds like the battery BMS recognized Low Voltage Cutoff. The battery will sag, in voltage, under heavy loads. This is normal. If the battery repeatedly sags to an unhealthy level (this will be different for different cells within the battery pack), then the cells will get damaged. A mile...

New controller will walk assist, but not throttle

With the new set up, you mention that the motor works only in “walk” mode. I had that same S866 display on my scooter. It defaulted to “non-zero start”. This means that the scooter had to be in motion before throttle would be enabled. Try spinning the motor, then using the throttle. These is a...

6'5" 220 looking for a bike that will take me up hill on throttle only

Their site says riders 5’2”-6’4”. This might be too small. OP also requested 29” rims.

You should toast the bread before making the sammich. It’s pretty fun and good.

Damn. Another peanut butter and lettuce combo recommendation. Makes sense because celery and peanut butter go will with each other. I think I’ll need more Vado before I try this. Mmmmm, melted cheese. Meat, cheese, and bread. A trio that can top most. My kids LOVE my grilled cheeses. I keep...

Dude, that’s gross…..sounding. I’m sure it’s great. Hotdogs are sandwiches, right? My favorite is the regular ketchup and mustard, but I like crunch, so add an entire snack bag (about a handful) of nacho cheese durritos. Just spread them along the dog and you’re good to go. Have no durritos...

    Rack Bag Lock

Zip ties might be better. You can really sinch them down enough to NOT be able to cut them. You can also put many ties on that bag making a would-be thief trying to find all of them. Sure they could still cut/break that plastic loop, but they’d have to do each one.

6'5" 220 looking for a bike that will take me up hill on throttle only

You might want to check out this motor simulator tool. There are a few tutorial videos on how to use it. I’m still learning how to use it. https://ebikes.ca/tools/simulator.html Maybe consider a dual motor ebike?

    Bosch dealer software?

I can’t do anything with that software, but I’m willing to take the hit. I’m not at my PC now though. I’ll check later tonight if I’m able. Been a busy weekend.

Have you tried to google the software? I found it. Pretty easily. Some Reddit thread. Bosch_ebike_Diagnostic_Software is what the name is, supposedly.

Just purchased Radster Road…Charger / Battery question

I bought one of these. I like the metal housing and the fan is an added bonus. When the fan stops, I check the charger. I also have a watt meter in the wall socket. I can see the current flow. At first, I see 1.5A, then it slowly drops as charging is complete. When the charger first goes green...

Our e-bike controller and all outputs have 80+ volts

Try this flow chart. If this doesnt work, then probably a bad motor. Again, as previously mentioned, you shouldn’t have any shorts between the phase wires and the motor housing. That alone would be enough for me to send the motor back.
