    No throttle, how do you..

I like to use the throttle on the road sometimes after a trail ride.

    No throttle, how do you..

I usually use Pas 1 light throttle or intermittent also has a walk mode but on mine you have to hold a bottom down and it's easier to turn the throttle slightly. Thread isn't about how to use a throttle for that though.

    No throttle, how do you..

... walk your bike up a hill when it's too steep to pedal up? With a throttle you can walk assist it in that situation, without it there are times it wouldn't be possible due to the weight. I'm interested in a bike that has no throttle so that's just one of the questions I have.

Right in line with my thinking. Something like this in a rear hub appeals to me...

Rear hub drive mountain bike recomendations

I do have a inexpensive fat tire no suspension ebike that said if it had more power, a full suspension and geared for the trails I typically ride I feel it would work very well based on what I've already experienced with the cadence sensor and throttle both work in ways that I like. I'm not...

I kinda thought this might be the case in part what I was asking also. Good to know about the torque sensor's instant response.

Rear hub drive mountain bike recomendations

Considering a full suspension mountain bike with as beefy of a rear hub motor I can find (recommendations). I know they're not climbers a mid drive but think I could gear it for my needs. Or is climbing just too hard on that (type) motor?

    BAFANG DPC240.CAN Computer/display

Interested in how the boost function works. I read some of the user manual and seems to be translated to english so not clear but sounds like the boost can be used as basically a full power on off switch. Can it be used in the different pas ranges also if so?

mid drives are not for everyone/throttles are fine

Good point about walk assist given the weight of some ebikes. Some other areas would be when plowing in loose gravel washes also dropping in a deep wash and climbing right back out the other side in the later case it's not a wash that most if any riders could pedal out of and balance is more key...

So is it as strong as they say?

I thought I would hear from people refuting the claim but guess it's true then. Wonder how far off they are on the torque of the m600 and m620 as being 120-160nm?!

    BBS02B/750w: First Build

The template is a pdf file so not sure how I'll ask if they have a link for it. He did say they are still working on it and is in the testing stage but also it's not mine to give. I'll ask though.

    BBS02B/750w: First Build

They sent me a print out template for the bbs02b motor in relation to the bb so I'll pull the crank arm when I get a chance. The good thing is if it were to fit and since it's so close I can put the rear triangle thru it's range of motion to verify it clears. Very impressed with this company...

    BBS02B/750w: First Build

Understood and this is what they said regarding using the 100mm in a 73mm bb: Unfortunately, your only option would be to go with the next largest motor, a 100mm 1000w with spacers to make up the difference. You will have a wider bike Q factor. Sometimes people have particular opinions about...
