Known Issues & Problems with Haibike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

This ^^^^^^ is excellent advice. Electrical connections benefit tremendously by some petro based lube. In fact, my retired Aerospace engineer buddy points out that any grease will do. Spray some chain lube around, it works just as well according to him.

Should bikes with the Bosch 500wh battery and motor have the same approximate range?

I just spent some time playing with that calculator. Xduro FullSeven S Pro, it was spot on with my Intuvia and my experience over 1350 miles.

    Chain Noise?

Hmmm, I did a tune/clean up and replaced my tires/tubes. I put on Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5x2.5 tires and they are outstanding. I noticed a significant decrease in drive train noise with the tune and lube. My motor makes some noise but nothing more than when it was new. I'm at 1350 miles now. Good...

    Fullseven XDURO S Pro 2016

Well, I did it. Went for my first ride with the new 500 Wh battery on Weds. And I kept the 400 Wh battery on the rear rack for a backup. I'm thinking the bike range is now much more than my current physical range. I'm in a mountain region so it's grand to use maximum boost and not worry about...

Question to Haibike Full Suspension owners

I'm still on the OEM chain. I took it in for a tune up and software update. A good bike tech is priceless, an ebike tech with upgrades is harder to find. My chain spec'd out with no appreciable stretch/wear and my gearing jumps were easily adjusted away. Sprockets and teeth look good. Just like...

Question to Haibike Full Suspension owners

I've got a 2016 FullSeven S Pro with 1300 miles on it now. It has become a bit noisier than when new. I'm not concerned. It rides well and hasn't suffered battery fatigue. I just ran a 2 mile errand and didn't need to fire up a vehicle. This bike is the shizzle and I'm still smitten.

Bosch - Intuvia (Walk-Assist Mode not working)

I watched a dealer access the ECU and activate Walk Assist. It took him quite a while. When he attempted to test it, he wasn't successful at engaging it. I played with it for a few minutes and got it to work. From the OP's description, I don't think it's activated in his bikes software, take it...

Bosch CX software update and chip mods- USA bikes?

I've had my 2016 FullSeven Xduro S Pro for a year now. I have no reason to want or need to use boost to ride over 28 mph, it's already enough speed to get me in trouble. What I'd really like is a 500 Wh battery that would boost my range, I've sent inquiries to local dealers without success. How...

    Walk Assist + Throttle?

I was at a dealership with a 2017 Bosch Performance Cx that was being updated to enable the Walk Assist mode. It was a cool feature, particularly on this large fat bike that weighed 65 lb easily. When my 2016 Performance Line Speed was updated, it showed no Walk Assist mode to enable. It's a...

Bosch Performance Motor vs. Brose, Shimano, Yamaha (Drag vs. Full Sized Chainring)

I have a Bosch Performance Line Speed on my FullSeven S Pro. I have ridden Yamaha and Brose bikes that cut out at 20 mph, mine provides boost to 28 mph. I have a route that climbs 3000 ft from 5000 ft to 8000 ft over 11 miles. Several times I have depleted the 400 Wh battery and climbed the...

Considering the 2017 All Mountain 7 and possibly the 2017 Full 7

The current FullSeven 7,0 S is the same bike as the 2016 FullSeven S Pro in a separate thread. You need to be clear about which Bosch drive you prefer. The S version is 63nM torque but 28 mph, great for XC and what I chose. The Cx version is 75nM torque, 20 mph and much more useful for...

[Tip] Yamaha PW - How to check the number of cycles & absolute battery capacity

I'm curious about battery cycles. When a battery is fully charged after a full discharge or fully charged after a 25-50% discharge, do these count a full cycles? I have pulled the charger at 80% several times when I knew I wouldn't need a full charge for my next ride, another full cycle? My...

    Fullseven XDURO S Pro 2016

I've been riding the clear days so another 100+ miles, over 1000 now. The tune up and software update are holding up nicely. I've really got the itch for the 500Wh battery so I've been watching the 2017 model closeouts. The 2017 version of this bike is the FullSeven S 7.0 It has the exact same...

Known Issues & Problems with Haibike Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Just got a software upgrade from May 2016 to current Bosch Performance latest version. What is your dealer charging for that? Mine had a $50 price tag.

    Fullseven XDURO S Pro 2016

Some new data on my bike. Mileage is 940. I needed a new rear tire at 850 miles, same Nobby Nic 27.5/2.25, a bit narrower. I just got a tune up and checked the software for update, May 2016 replaced by newest version. I've put on around 30 miles since and I notice some improvements. Smoother...

Aftermarket Batteries for Bosch Coming in 2015

Who has cut open the Bosch battery? There are multiple aftermarket batteries available, shipping Li ion is problematic but the cost shows how badly overpriced the official Bosch battery really is...

    Bosch E-Bike Updates for 2018

The Purion display is another cheaper alternative which seems to be the direction ebikes are heading. I'd prefer a better display than the Intuvia which was the US standard. And I'd really like a version of the Nyon. I'm watching the other components of these bikes become cheaper and less...

    Over 50's 2017 XDuro Trekking 4.0 Chronicles

It's a good looking bike on the surface and I really like the Bosch system (would love the 500W/h over my 2016 400 W/h) so I dug a little deeper. Trek has been in my pedal bike stable routinely the past 40 years so the frame is solid. However, the components used on this bike amounted to a...

    Haibike dealer support is terrible.

I understand the issues of not buying locally. When a local business actually competes for my business, I step up and support them. The tactics and responses I've had from local Haibike dealers have not deserved that support. When I shopped for a bike, several of them told me I wouldn't get...
