Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Wow thanks for all that info Stefan! I'm going to go and adjust my main screen to show cadence and will experiment with that on tomorrow's ride. I expect to be doing a lot of experimenting at first, yesterday's experiment was my usual ride with no power at all and due to now having 10 gears...

Does PAS care what gear I am in? For example, today I wanted to try the power on some steep hills. I switched it on to #1 but I stayed in a higher gear to keep up the speed and get more of a workout. If I do this does that make the system work harder and possibly use more battery than if I shift...

That is nice, I'll put one on my list. Is there a monthly fee for the GPS?

    Great Forum

I first joined the Specialized forums (not the one here) and posted 3 times and never got any replies, this forum/group has been great and I'm glad to be here. I also belong to Rat Rod Bikes. Any other good, active bike forums I should know about? (if that's allowed);)

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Thanks, I was able to program it so I can see MPH, Trip ODO and Time at one glance. It would have been nice to program the "remaining battery/heart rate/cadence" field to the elapsed time display instead but not possible, not a big deal as I can toggle to it when I want to or just keep track on...

Correct, I just want to "Re-arrange" the display so the items I want are all on the same screen, I don't want to add more items and I don't want to use my cell phone for a display. I didn't think the display was wireless though, mine has 2 wires coming off the back and into the frame.

Really enjoying the new Como, I don't want my ride to end! Does anyone know if there is a way to customize the display so that everything you want to see it on the same screen? Right now I have to change screens to see what I want, there are 4 items per screen so when I'm on MPH I also get stuff...

    New 2021 Specialized Como

Here's a few pics, just got back from my second ride. Also pictured is Mad Jimi which has been my daily rider since September and will still get used as it's a lot of fun (wheels are 26" they just look small due to large frame), then my Schwinn 1 speed cruiser named Freddy Freeloader. Also...

Thank You Stefan and thanks for the response on my introductory post as well...I will get some pics soon. I hear what you are saying on the weight distribution but my back and wrists won't allow me to hunch over too much so I tend to sit more upright, will change the seat if need be for more...

    New 2021 Specialized Como

Thanks Stefen and yes I will get some pics up soon! I will live with the fender for now and if necessary I will trim the mud flap a couple of inches, don't plan to ride in the rain ever, and we rarely get rain in the desert anyway, but we do have dust! .My next chore is to research locks and a...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I got a new 2021 Como today, had my first ride and pretty happy. Doing a bit of tweaking, I am tall which is why I wanted the Como but I could still use a bit more rise on the handlebar. I turned them upwards a bit and lowered the seat 1/4" after my ride today, will see how that goes tomorrow...

    New 2021 Specialized Como

Just picked it up and will be going for my first ride in a few minutes. A couple of issues, I haven't figured out how to change the display from KPH to MPH, and the front fender has a very long mud flap that nearly touches the ground and is a real pain when walking the bike down a curb. Looking...
