    Giant Explorer E+ 2 grips

Good morning, I went to change out my grips on my Giant Explore E+ 2 not realizing the controller is somewhat integrated into the grip and locking mechanism/coller. When i try to put on new grips the controller coller wont tighten leaving it very loose. Anyone know a way around this? I was...

    Giant RideControl Charge Display

Hello everyone. I finally picked up my Giant Explore E last week. Love it so far and really just getting used to it. I do have a question... does anyone make a cover or protector for the Giant RideControl Charge display? Not like a stick on screen protector like a phone but something a...

    Spark RX 500w Bafang mid-drive 27.5” with Shimano Alivio , 17 Ah

Yup, that I have read. Best after sale is Trek hands down. I cant find the same value for price like the Giant Explore E 2+GTS in a Trek. I like the Super Commuter and the Allant.... and it may seem silly but I cant stand that rack and cant seem to find a way to change it without making...

    Spark RX 500w Bafang mid-drive 27.5” with Shimano Alivio , 17 Ah

I was mostly going on several google review searches, many comments here in the brand specific forums ect. They all seem to have the same theme. Start off great, top notch support ect... then a year or so later they seem to fall off the map. That said, I agree some of the bikes and parts look...

    Closing in on a choice

@AlanDB Thanks for the recommendation. It seems tho that Gazelle isnt that common in Canada.... at least not to see in person. But that being said they only have one high step model which more like a cruiser. The mid steps looked okay but no IGH on those. Interesting company and products...

    Closing in on a choice

@J.R. I dont really plan on riding much after the snow begins. The cold and the arthritis affects my hands quite a lot. Right now our roads are so covered in salt, brine and muck I wouldnt want to clean anything after a ride in that. I like the idea of an IGH but given the price of the two...

    2020 Giant Explore E+ 2 GTS, I think I found my bike!

This Giant (same model) is at the top of my list also. Anyone have an opinion on the stock tires and puncture resistance?

    Closing in on a choice

After much research and review reading and watching Ive abandoned the idea that I need a throttle and have been really leaning towards mid drives. So, my budget is 3500 Canadian (about 2700 U.S.). Ive looked at all the big brands and found so many great bikes. Bulls had one with IGH that I...

    Momentum TRANSEND E+

Not sure if this is the right section in the forums to ask but has anyone tried the Momentum TRANSEND E+? I cant really find much info on it other than the marketing details. Ive since moved my focus from hub drive to mid after doing a lot of research and this bike looks pretty interesting...

    Any Canadian's ordered?

Good Morning. Im curious if any fellow Canadians have ordered a Bike from Ride1up... specifically if you had any difficulty with customs, or heavy taxes on import? Im interested in the 700... quite a bike for the money in the XR config https://ride1up.com/product/700-series/

    DÖST IS LIVE!

Looks like Biktrix Juggernaut ultra is off my list. Got a reply to my questions a few mins ago. Cant lower or change the fenders (really dont like that front one... reminds me of a moped) and the only change they can do to the wheels is 27.5 x 3. Unfortunate. The search goes on.

    DÖST IS LIVE!

Yup, the weight is holding me back.... that and the fenders. Ive sent Biktrix a couple emails asking if they can change the fenders, put on thinner tires... maybe even 29s (Road commute) but haven had anyone get back to me yet. I am torn though.... do I really need a throttle. I know I want...

    DÖST IS LIVE!

Im eagerly awaiting your launch. I know there is great debate on the cadence/Tongue features but to me this is checking off a lot of boxes. I was leading towards a Juggernaut ultra 1000 (with some mods like frunt fender lower) simply because it had the mid drive, throttle options but now...

    Spark RX 500w Bafang mid-drive 27.5” with Shimano Alivio , 17 Ah

So, that scratches another one off my list. Is it a trend with most of the mail order type? Was considering Volt, Surface 604 and Juiced but the customer service and what seems to be quality control issues are making me rethink everything.

So thanks that does help me make up mind a little. Customer service after the fact is important. Especially after spending a few grand. Its too bad but at least my list got shorter.

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I was looking at the Juiced offerings and thought the CCX ticked off most of my checkpoints. After reading through this thread I dont think I bring myself to purchase one, especially mail order with all these customer service issues, negotiating to get service done and some basic...
