I just emailed them this morning and got a response this afternoon asking if the old display without the throttle will work with my bike and I was told it will so I think it is as easy as swapping out the display.

LOL. Rad downgrades a popular model the Mini with the Expand, then comes out with a trike while Lecrtic improves their most popular model with the 3.0 and comes out with a trike that is $1,000 less than Rad and with better specs.
