    PAS problems

You can mount the sensor ring to the face of the bottom bracket shell with Gorilla Glue. Don't use too much (that stuff expands like crazy), hold it tight for a couple minutes, then leave it alone over night. The next day you can put the disk on and install the crankarm. Later if you need to...

Does anyone own an E-GLide Electric Bike?

The price at that site is $1197, which is dishonestly represented as an $802 savings. Ignore those hucksters.

Does anyone own an E-GLide Electric Bike?

Any news on rides yet? I'm interested in this bike if someone will ever get around to testing one.

How hard to change 20" rear tire on hub drive (& shaft drive)?

That shaft bike is one speed, so no chain or derailleur to move out of the way to remove the wheel. I don't think you could ask for a simpler wheel removal.

How hard to change 20" rear tire on hub drive (& shaft drive)?

Removing the rear wheel of a chain drive hub is a simple matter of decoupling one wire and and loosening the wheel bolts, then sliding the wheel out of the dropouts. I don't know how the shaft unbolts, but it should be obvious once you're looking at it. There will be a drive gear on the wheel...

    Moustache Bikes

"Silly" is obviously a subjective opinion. I'm not going to argue it as a fact, because that would be silly.

    Moustache Bikes

No, I'm going to go ahead and knock it now. US riders are not going to be interested in carrying two different tubes on every ride. It's silly.

    27.5 rear, 29 front? Um, that's silly.

    Converting Into Ebike

You'll be fine with your current 8-speed shifter and derailleur, just set up the shifting so the derailleur limit screws prevent the shift into 1st/low gear. If it's a 7-speed freewheel/cassette, you'll use the shifter as 2 through 8. Your local bike shop can set this up if it's not your thing.

    Considering ebike need input (long)

The first thing to do if you've never ridden an ebike before is to see how different positions feel with assist. I'm a recent convert - I have two assist and two non-assist bikes - and found I prefer flatbars a couple inches above saddle level with electric, which is a more relaxed position than...

    Considering ebike need input (long)

You need to focus on riding position more than category of bicycle, in my opinion. Pretty much any mtb or hybrid can be outfitted with cruiser bars, so you would have the sweepback without the crank-forward pedal position. I don't know ebike models very well - I have two kitted bikes which I did...

How come the 2015 Pedego Interceptor (48V/10Ah) costs $645.00 > the 2016 Aerial Rider (48V/11.6Ah)?

If "Christopher" is trying to generate good will towards Ariel, he's failing miserably. Personally I think the bikes are way cool, and I dig the connection to those old square four motorcycles. I liked them more a couple weeks ago...

How come the 2015 Pedego Interceptor (48V/10Ah) costs $645.00 > the 2016 Aerial Rider (48V/11.6Ah)?

I don't need to elaborate on anything. You've stated the exact same thing about one bike being about $700 more than another one numerous times. It sounds like an ad for the cheaper bike, and if you haven't figured out by now that the answer is "buy it", I can't help you.

How come the 2015 Pedego Interceptor (48V/10Ah) costs $645.00 > the 2016 Aerial Rider (48V/11.6Ah)?

I keep seeing the same author using the same talking points to promote one bike over another.

How struggling can it be to lift a 60lbs eBike to the 3rd floor?

I say no. You may think it's do-able now, but invariably what happens with a bike too heavy to carry up/down all those stairs is you stop doing it, and it sits unused in the apartment. I'd recommend something closer to 40 pounds like a Faraday or E-Glide SS.

    New here. Question on Safety

As I said, supervised kids on a dirt track is a reasonable option for e-bike riding. On the street in traffic is not.

    New here. Question on Safety

Young kids in the dirt? Maybe with good training. On the street? I wouldn't.

Equalizer electric fat bike - definitely not a recommended purchase!

Eh, in the era of smartphones that's kind of a moot issue. I've tweeted and sent comments to forums from rest stops on bike rides. You can do both!
