My Ariel Rider C class claims to employ both cadence and torque sensing. I definitely feel a surge of power when I suddenly increase my leg input. But that surge seems very brief--just one or two rotations of the crank.

Gas powered generators are highly inefficient. But I wonder how efficient a natural gas fueled generator would be? There are such things.

It's high voltage that kills, not amperage. You can touch the terminals on a 12 volt, high amperage car battery without harm.

My Ariel Rider C class has a Nexus 7 IGH, which has given me no problems whatsoever. It works via a twist shifter, which also has been flawless. I hope I don't ever have to go back to derailleur again.
